I, the Lord, of all Creation…

Psalm 85:13
Righteousness will go before Him, and shall make His footsteps our pathway.

(Abba’s Voice spoken directly to you)

I am in the midst of you, My children. You have heard My voice and have known that I have been ministering to you. You have not followed the voice of a stranger nor sought out strange paths. For this reason have I set My love upon you. I have put My arm around you, and with My wings have I sheltered you. You are the object of My special care.

I have given you of My best because you have loved Me. I have drawn you into My banquet hall because you hungered and thirst after the things of God. Because you have longed for righteousness and true holiness, I sought you out to instruct you and teach you in My laws and in My ways. I will indeed bring you to a higher realm of experience and revelation because there is a quest in your soul after Truth.

The Word is truly near you, even in your heart. Listen to the voice of My Spirit within. It will never fail. It will never be silent. It will never mock your cry. Your hours of meditation will be rich in the treasures of your God, and His light will guide you.

It is no futile path in which I am leading you. It will be laden with blessing and filled with surprises. Never be hesitant to follow. If you lag behind, you may find My footprints have become cold because I have gone on too far ahead. I charge you to keep pace with Me. I will not gauge My steps too wide for you to follow. I will measure them to your ability, but I make no provision for the laggard.

Follow close, and your reward will be blessed.

The Knot Prayer

April 27, 2012 at 1:01 pm (Prayers)

image

Ahhh, the heart of the matter!

How important it is that we are “graded” only by our Creator. From the beginning to the end we are guaranteed an A plus, if we look only to Him for our ratings, worth, and value.

When we look horizontally (to humans), so many things effect the grade we give and receive. What if the “grader” is jealous of our work, or more to the point His work in us? What if they doubt He is, or does all? What if they are color blind, illiterate, full of sadness, angry or resentful, wounded? Oh how our biggest lessons in life are based on perceptions, and how we must “look up” for new ones or we will never really SEE.

The writer of this peom was being taught all about a different way to see knots. The Teacher was not of this world, and the grade will not apply to it. Only this sight, makes the blind see…it is His sight, His alone.

Glory to God, who makes the blind see, the lame walk, the deaf hear, the mute speak, the leper feel, the sick well, and all of man-kind LIVE!

Bodie & Brock Thoene : Thoene’s Blog

April 19, 2012 at 11:48 pm (Thoughts to Ponder)

This is for those who have been looking at the signs in the heavens. The Thoene’s observe the celestial bodies as the Magi did, those Magi who were led to Yeshua by the stars, so long ago. This is a bit late in posting, as March has indeed marched on by, forgive me for the delay for some reason I did not get this post. I did however, observe Venus, Jupiter, and Mars as they spoke of :-). Venus continues to be predominate in the western sky still. I am so grateful Adonai has led me to the Thoene’s, for so many reasons, with wisdom and knowledge, they are trustworthy sources in so many ways.

Behold, I Am coming soon…the heavens declare!

Keep watch! Do not delay for a moment in keeping your eyes on Yeshua…He is here now, and His return as promised draws nigh…may the grace of Yeshua, and the comfort and power of the Spirit be with you all, giving glory, glory, glory to the Father

The Love Covenant

April 12, 2012 at 12:43 pm (Remodeling the Mind)

image

All the paths of the Lord are mercy and truth, To such as keep His Covenant.  ~ Psalm 25:10

(Written as if the Spirit of Adonai, Himself is speaking to you)

My children, there is no good thing that I would withold from you. I have not left you to fend for yourselves nor to make your way by your own devices. I am the Lord your God. I am your provider and your defender. I care for you with a deep and tender love. I am all-wise and all-powerful and will be your defense against every onslaught of the enemy.

Anticipate My help. I will not fail you. Look down at the path before you. You will see the print of My feet. ” ‘I will go before you and make the crooked places straight’ ” (Isaiah 45:2). I will make the path ready for you as you follow.

It is a joy to My heart when My children rely on Me. I delight in working things out for you, but I delight even more in you yourself than in anything I do to help you. Even so, I want you to delight in Me just for Myself, rather than in anything you do for Me.

Service is a salvage of love. It is like the twelve baskets of bread that were left over. The bread that was eaten was like fellowship mutually given; and the excess and overflow was a symbol of service. I do not expect you to give to others until you have first eaten. I will provide you with plentiful supply to give if you first come to receive for your own needs.

This is not selfishness. It is the Law of Life. Can the stalk of corn produce the ear unless first it receives its own life from the parent seed? No more can you produce fruit in your ministry unless you are impregnated with divine life from its source in God Himself. It was from the hands of the Messiah that the multitudes received bread. From His hands you must also receive your nurture, the Bread of Life to sustain your health and your life.

This is His love-covenant with you. It is the message of John 15:4: ” ‘Abide in Me, and I in you. As the branch cannot bear fruit of itself, unless it abides in the vine, neither can you, unless you abide in Me.’ ” This abiding is a love relationship, and this is why service is the salvage of love.

Service will be futile and burdensome unless it springs from an overflowing heart. Overflowing not with good intentions and condescending self-righteousness, but overflowing with the love of God. This you do not have of yourself, nor can you give, however much you might desire to do so. You will possess this love only as you wait upon Me and take time to absorb it from Me, like a quiet flower takes life from the warm rays of the sun.

Your heart will be cold otherwise. For your ready ardor and natural sympathy, and commom kindness will soon be cooled by the chill winds of ingratitude and others’ unlovely reactions. Do you think the love of Jesus was always well received? Would He not have brought His ministry to an abrupt end on many an occasion if He had needed the appreciation of people to motivate His loving service?

Have you read the reaction of the religious people to the recital of His miracle-working power in Luke 4? The exhibition of God’s love draws forth emotions in the unregenerate heart that are nothing short of murderous at times. In other cases, God’s love is met by callous indifference and criminal ingratitude, as with the nine lepers who never returned to express so much as a word of thanks for their deliverance from a walking death (see Luke 17:12-19)

In the face of divine love being poured forth on Calvery – the holy, sinless God Himself dying for the sinful, depraved, undeserving humanity – what is the reaction? Gratitude? Love? Contrition? No! Hate lashes out in jeers and mocking. Violence and cruelty flow forth like a river and mingle with the very blood that was spilt for their redemption!

No. Human kindness will never be enough. It will never fill the twelve baskets with fragments. There will never be any crumbs left over for others unless you first eat from your own personal love feast with the Savior.

Let Him fully satisfy your soul-hunger, and then you will go forth with a full basket on your arm. Twelve baskets there were (see Matthew 14:20). One for each disciple. There will always be the multitudes to be fed, but the few called to minister. This is by My own arrangment. As the Scripture says: “My brethren, let not many of you become teachers, knowing that we shall receive a stricter judgement” (James 3:1)

Many are called. Few are chosen.

Watch “A History of Hebrew Part 7: Old Hebrew to Greek and Aramaic” on YouTube

April 10, 2012 at 10:58 pm (The Shepherd's Words)

I began posting this series quite some time ago, and ask for your grace in the long pause between 🙂

I would like to take a moment to address you personally, as I have had request that have posed perspectives and comments that I would like to address.

First, these videos are NOT based on a series to teach the Hebrew language. To clarify, they do help one understand the Word and its translation process, and often does teach a new perspective on words within the text. But this is not meant to be a “learn hebrew in 23 steps” type thing. Though my understanding of Hebrew has been greatly expanded, I don’t know how to speak the language.

Second, the motive for me posting these IS to with passion and great encouragement invite you to look more deeply into the Hebrew “mind-set” if you will. I do so because of how much my knowing God has taken on a new “breath of life” because of looking deeper here.

God spoke Hebrew to Moses, Abraham, Isaac, Jacob, Isaiah, Jeremiah…and the list goes on throughout the Bible. God has never and will never do something without meaning. So I thought to myself, “It MUST means something, perhaps I should see…”
Its a PROVEN fact that ALL the disciples, AND Yeshua (Jesus) spoke, thought, prayed in Hebrew/Aramaic. It is also assumed that the 1st language was Latin, which takes no effort at all to find this to be false. Paul the Apostle, did indeed speak Greek and write in Greek, but his language of origin is Hebrew/Aramaic. Its safe to say that Paul was the only true and accurate “translator” from one to the other.
Since the 1st factually known language is indeed Hebrew, it begs the question, how was it different and what more could be gained by peeking into the resources available today to find out?

These videos are excellently done, and range from 2 minutes to 10 minutes…they are easy to follow so simply helpful I wanted to share them. Please understand these are not a Hebrew language learning course.

I pray that they will enrich your walk with Adonai greatly and open the door to how our Savior thought and spoke, and therefore made the Word come more alive for you as it has for me.
