Road of Unrecognition

September 8, 2012 at 4:43 am (WSGD Newes) (, , , , , , , , , )

The Word saw fit to put upon us a sign of recognition of ourselves at every letter of each story.

The Road to Emmaus, though it be full of reflections of the character of the Son and Father, reflects us too in the two disciples that walked along with Him without seeing Him.

Yet He was still with them, unrecognized or not! He still spoke with them, without them knowing who it was they both spoke of and to. He walked as if they did know Him because He knew time was not a factor. Nor their lack of “sight” in the moments they saw without seeing. He saw the hour of their stunned faces, fully seeing Him. While they were yet bent to believe that life and death held sway on earth, He trusted the Truth, both in His Father, and in the reality He was sent to unveil.

So much that we hardly “see” of Yeshua (Jesus) as we walk along our “roads of unrecognition”. He is still walking with us, talking to and with us, and can see our hours of unveiling. God loves scale removing moments! He loves the blind, the deaf, the lame, the condemned! Is this not what we read about from one crisp page to another in the Annals of God’s Kingdom (the Word of God – Bible)?

We remember with thanksgiving that all our dull, diluted, murky and dark days are cleared up by the Sight Giver, the Revealer, the God With Us embodiment of Himself. Pulling the curtains back on His character, His love, His Almighty Power…this is the work of His Spirit in all our lives. He will not relent till all eyes have been cured! What an amazing God we serve!

Grace and peace in Yeshua the Messiah ❤
