No Stranger in Heaven (Spurgeon’s Faith’s Checkbook)

No Stranger in Heaven
December 31

Thou shalt guide me with thy counsel, and afterward receive me to glory. (Psalm 73:24)

From day to day and from year to year my faith believes in the wisdom and love of God, and I know that I shall not believe in vain. No good word of His has ever failed, and I am sure that none shall ever fall to the ground.

I put myself into His hand for guidance. I know not the way that I should choose: the Lord shall choose mine inheritance for me. I need counsel and advice; for my duties are intricate, and my condition is involved…

The counsel of the infallible God I seek in preference to my own judgment or the advice of friends…
Soon the end will come: a few more years and I must depart out of this world unto the Father. My Lord will be near my bed. He will meet me at heaven’s gate: He will welcome me to the gloryland. I shall not be a stranger in heaven: my own God and Father will receive me to its endless bliss.

Glory be to Him who
Will guide me here,
And receive me hereafter. Amen.

Grace and peace in Yeshua the Messiah ❤

Speaker of The House

December 30, 2012 at 4:00 am (WSGD Newes) (, , , , , , , , , )

Lets start at the very beginning…

Genesis 1:1-3
In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth. The earth was un-formed and void, darkness was on the face of the deep, and the Spirit of God hovered over the surface of the water. Then God said, “Let there be light” and there was light.

John 1:1-2
In the beginning was the Word and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. He was with God in the beginning.

God has always spoken for Himself. He was the first “speaker”, teacher, voice. He was the One who spoke to Adam and Eve, Abraham, Isaac, Jacob, Noah, Jonathan, David, Isaiah, Jeremiah, Ezekiel, Elisha, Elijiah, Jonah, Daniel, and every single human that wrote a Word for The Word (Yeshua/Jesus). You could say, not a word exist without Him! Speech is NOT man-kind’s invention. Its not a part of our “evolution” or process of “higher learning” We were taught by The Word how to write, learn, teach and speak them. God still speaks for Himself. He still vocalises His will into the ears of the hearts of His children. He has NO intention of leaving His heart, mind, will to man to communicate for Him. After Yeshua, this became a done away practice. Its not blasphemy! Here see His Words He, Himself said.

(Note: Beginning in Isaiah chapter 53, God begins very pointedly speaking about Yeshua, how He will come, why, how He will be in character, received by man, His purpose)

Isaiah 59:21
“As for Me,” says Adonai, “this is My covenant with them: My Spirit who rest on you, and My Words which I put in your mouth will not depart from your mouth or from the mouth of your children, or from the mouth of your children’s children, now or ever,” says Adonai

Jeremiah 31:33-34
“For this is the covenant I will make with the house of Israel after those days,” says Adonai: “I will put My Torah within them and write it on their hearts; I will be their God and they will be My people. No longer will any of them teach his fellow community member or his brother, ‘Know ADONAI’; for all will know Me, from the least of them to the greatest; because I will forgive their wickedness and remember their sins no more.”

John 6:45
It is written in the Prophets, ‘They will be taught by Adonai.’ (Isaiah 54:13) Everyone who listens to the Father and learns from Him comes to Me.

Phillipians 3:15
Therefore, as many of us as are mature, let us keep paying attention to this: and if you are differently minded about anything, God will also reveal this to you.

1 Thessalonians 4:9
Concerning love for the brothers we do not need to write you, for you yourselves have been taught by God to love each other;

1 John 2:27
As for you, the Messianic anointing you received from the Father remains in you, so that you have no need for anyone to teach you. On the contrary, as His Messianic anointing continues to teach you about all things, and is true, not counterfeit, so, just as He taught you, remain united with Him.

Everyone always wants to know what Yeshua’s “secret” was to being sinless. Opinions vary, “He was God.” “He was obedient to the Law,” “He was pre-determined to by God the Father.” All true, but not complete. Ready? Here’s the “secret”… He listened to and only to the voice of His Father, believed only what He said, did only what He told Him to do, said only what He told Him to say, trusted only One Voice! In short He loved the Lord His God and Him only! The first commandment. By doing this He did all the “right” things. He fulfilled all the old testament and wrote the new!

Did He get called crazy? Yes. Did everyone believe Him? No. Was His methods, words, actions questioned? Yes, at every turn by man; not by God. So…listening to His Father was the key! Then He told us to do as He did. In the book of John He can not be more clear about this.

Note the end of the above verse in Jeremiah. Why does God say He will teach us Himself? Because of forgiveness. Who made that possible? Yes, Yeshua/Jesus! This is why He is the gate, the only way to the Father. Listening and talking is an ebb and flow of relationship! Yeshua spoke against methodology, religion, actions and behavior modifications that seek to prove our worth to God. Needing other people to approve or validify their authenticity. God wants our friendship, community, trust…relationship. This is the point from the beginning. He speaks; and ANYTHING He says happens. He’s 100% right about EVERYTHING all the time. He can be trusted! If we ask Him anything, He has the answer. If we tell Him anything, it is guaranteed to be heard, acknowledged and taught to us as it really is. His correction, is clarification! Not spankings. He longs to tell us about Himself. Don’t we think the best person to tell about us is us, from our own mouths? The only exception for myself is that God would tell someone about me instead, but no one else would come near to knowing me except through mine or His lips alone! (His being the most accurate) Interaction with me is key!  So…if God’s entire desire is to be fully known by us, His voice alone can only do that best. Yes? Interaction with Him personally is paramount!

Note again the verse in Jeremiah above. Its the House of Israel He is the speaker of and to. He is the Speaker of the House. Which house do you belong to? Yeshua is building it as I “speak”. Its not a house of geological location (except here on earth). Don’t let the country of Israel confuse you. Though that little plot of earth, no doubt means something very important to God; His House of Israel is global. I am of the House of Israel, though I reside in the USA.
When I pray for the “peace of Jerusalem” I pray for me, you, and all of those He calls His; from the USA to the white dunes in Antarctica. His Voice is building on what Yeshua started, a total “tuning into to God and God alone”. No matter what it “costs” us.

From what I can see, the biggest thievery of Satan is to make people believe they can not hear God themselves. And given all the above, you can hear the snake again in the garden…”Did God really say?” There was no “bible” for Eve to refer to. The question was aimed at what God, interactively relationally said to her (and Adam). We, are abundant in our means for confirmation that its God who speaks to us because of our Bibles! Though God may talk to me about my marriage, job, children in details not word for word written in it; I have the guarantee that nothing written in it will contradict His interactive Voice to me! Or to you. What Grace He has lavished upon us!

Let’s wrap up. God/Yeshua/the Spirit gets the last Word too! He is and will be the last One to speak.

Revelation 22:12-20
“Pay attention!” (Listen!) says Yeshua, “I am coming soon, and My rewards are with Me to give to each person according to what he has done. I am the ‘A’ and the ‘Z’, the First and the Last, the Beginning and the End.”
How blessed are those who wash their robes, so that they have the right to eat from the Tree of Life and go through the gates into the city! Outside are the homosexuals, those involved with the occult and with drugs, the sexually immoral, idol-worshippers, and everyone who loves and practices falsehood. I, Yeshua, have sent My angel to give you this testimony for the Messianic communities. I am the Root and Offspring of David, the bright Morning Star. The Spirit and the Bride say, ‘Come!’ Let anyone who hears say, ‘Come!’ And let anyone who is thirsty come – let anyone who wishes, take the water of life free of charge.”
I warn everyone hearing the Words of the prophesy in this book that if anyone adds to them, God will add to him the plagues written in this book. And if anyone takes away from the Words in the book of this prophesy, God will take way his share in the Tree of Life and the holy city, as described in this book.
“The one who is testifying to these things says, ‘Yes, I am coming soon!'”

Note the detail in mentioning all things related to speech/language/words. No one cares about communication more than God! Notice how He goes back to the Beginning here in the End? Referring to a tree, the Tree of Life! There is a snake here too! Even now he is asking you to question if God speaks to you. To question what He says. To question. Yet Yeshua now stands in front of that snake, to reminds us not to listen. We have at this time in history had almost 7 thousand years to learn that God is God, and fully trustworthy as such! He is the Judge, we “all rise” to when He enters. He is the Teacher of all things made, by which nothing was made by anyone but Him. He is the “secret” to the City! Listen to Him! He is speaking!

He Will Carry Us Home (Spurgeon’s Faith’s Checkbook)

December 29, 2012 at 4:40 am (Devotionals)

He Will Carry Us Home
December 29

And even to your old age I am he; and even to hoar hairs will I carry you: I have made, and I will bear; even I will carry, and will deliver you. (Isaiah 46:4)

The year is very old, and here is a promise for our aged friends; yes, and for us all, as age creeps over us. Let us live long enough, and we shall all have hoar hairs; therefore we may as well enjoy this promise by the foresight of faith.

When we grow old our God will still be the I AM, abiding evermore the same. Hoar hairs tell of our decay, but He decayeth not. When we cannot carry a burden and can hardly carry ourselves, the Lord will carry us. Even as in our young days He carried us like lambs in His bosom, so will He in our years of infirmity.

He made us, and He will care for us. When we become a burden to our friends and a burden to ourselves, the Lord will not shake us off, but the rather He will take us up and carry and deliver us more fully than ever. In many cases the Lord give His servants a long and calm evening. They worked hard all day and wore themselves out in their Master’s service, and so He said to them, “Now rest in anticipation of that eternal Sabbath which I have prepared for you.” Let us not dread old age. Let us grow old graciously since the Lord Himself is with us in fullness of grace.

Even if No One Believes with Me

December 29, 2012 at 2:42 am (Poems) (, , , , , , , , , , )

There are those, it is said, that live in a fairytale land

I suppose the same could be said of me

For the reality I see is a place where Adonai ~ Elohim ~ YWHW ~ Abba God lives and dwells

Is in all, through all, IS all and it makes me glad!

Everything, from every perspective of that which can be seen as “bad”; is but the grand illusion of His enemy

I will give THANKS for these eyes He has given me and shout all He shares to show from them!

The goodness of God transforms every speck of dust to gold

Every broken heart to an enchanted forests

Every illness into a window to see the very heart of heaven

Every black and darkened view into a sky full of stars about to be blue!

God IS!

Nothing else can be if He is not

Where He is not, this is the very definition of nothing

And nothing is impossible with Him!

Reality? Who’s to say, except Him who is all things real.

I will choose these eyes to see, even if no one believes with me.

A New Hope

December 28, 2012 at 3:50 am (Mile Stones) (, , , , , , , , , , )

Lamentations 3:21-24
But in my mind I keep returning to something, something that gives me hope –
That the grace of Adonai is not exhausted,
That His compassion has not ended.
On the contrary, they are new (something not known before) every morning!
How great Your faithfulness!
“Adonai is all I have,” I say; “therefore I will put my hope in Him.”

Zephaniah 3:5
Adonai, who is righteous, is there among them; He never does anything wrong. Every morning He renders His judgement, every morning without fail.

Its always interesting to me that as I read scripture…though I have read it before…simple little words jump out at me as they did not the 1st, 2nd, or 100th time previous. Taken all together the whole of the verse from previous “chewings” to present lessons…build me up in Him. Him who is the Word!

The latter verse speaks of His judgement every morning. The first verse speaks of His heart/motive/purpose for judgement. Instead of it having a harsh/punishing slant; it holds the promise of His love, grace, mercy. Something unfamiliar is new. Who can not say how well known condemnation and guilt is by those of us who know how short we come to His perfection? So that kind of judgement is well known by all of mankind! The NEW, is the kind that Yeshua (Jesus) introduced with every Word He spoke!

God knew/knows we need to be reminded of His mercies every morning! How do we know? The sun…it comes up every morning on all, righteous, wicked, sick, well, hungry, fed, thirsty, dehydrated, loving, hateful, kind, cruel, those who know Him, those who don’t. The only requirement to having a sun in their sky everyday is that He made it/them! Even those who walk with Him daily can not begin to describe that kind of love, mercy, grace! Its beyond the created’s ability! All we can do us open our hearts to receive it…as whole heartedly as we can.

Letting Him carry forward anything from yesterday is wise. Let go of the things that have happened yesterday, place them in His hands. Trust if you need anything from that which is no more, that He who holds all can bring it back; but bank on it being new! Yes! This! This is hope! A hope worth dying for! A hope that sustains life! A new hope! Glory to God!
