Solid…without a doubt – Truth

August 28, 2013 at 10:17 am (Mile Stones) (, , , , , , , , , , , , , , )

Isaiah 48:3-9

I announced things that happened at the beginning, long ago; they issued from My mouth, I proclaimed them. Then suddenly I acted, and they occurred. Because I knew you were stubborn, your neck an iron sinew, your forehead bronze, I announced it to you long ago; before it occurred, I proclaimed it to you; so you could not say, ‘my idol did it, my carved image, my statue, (my intelligence, my goodness, my abilities, my gifts, my brilliance, my craftiness,) gave the order for it.’
You have heard and seen all this, so why don’t you admit it?

Now I am announcing new things to you, secret things you have not known, created now, not long ago, before today, you did not hear them: so you can’t say, ‘I already know about them.’
No, you haven’t heard, and you haven’t known; these things have not reached your ears before. For I knew how treacherous you were – you were called a rebel from the womb. Yet for the sake of My own reputation I am deferring My anger; for the sake of My praise I am patient with you, so as not to cut you off.

Pulled, Woo’ed, Holy Enchantment

August 22, 2013 at 12:06 pm (Poems) (, , , , , )

An unasked for purpose
Such a small thing to start
A heart to protect a home
Stood up and set apart

Unknown the evil pull
Yet Holy wrapped a veil
And the still small Voice
Reflects the choice
Illuminating the path of prevail

Woo’ed the heart and mind to unknown
Pulled like a thread thru flesh
Stitching, repairing the enchanting mesh
With Breath

Tug O War, yank and thrown
Falling empty – redirected
Beauty calls, lines the walls
Holy points and reveals a Face

Mist dive in, valleys fill
New sight acquires skill
Ankles twist, knees buckle
Lungs collapse from air so full
Straightening the will

Small, tiny, unseen
The thing that stands between
Easily thrown, yet full of need
A Light fills full and runs with speed
Blood oozes through the grasp
It cleans and limps the hand

The path turns towards heaven
Then returns towards hell
Nothing as it seems
Just a reoccurring theme
“Listen, trust, listen, trust”
Into the heart of all – I am carried.

These eyes not needed
This mind unheeded
A child full of empty pages
One Voice becomes the pen
And everything changes.

Hello Fellow-sheep!

August 13, 2013 at 12:58 am (WSGD Newes)

Hello there!
Wow, these last 3 weeks have been super busy and full of life and preparation for much that lies ahead. Sadly the amount of time writing has been put on a burner at simmer rather than full throttle. Gods timing is always faithful and I trust Him.

Yet I have missed you all and very much missed reading what God has placed in your hearts to share. I pray for you all each and everyday. Know that simmer simply means that He is “reducing” while making much especially flavorful 🙂
I rarely get “notice” for these times and rarely would see my need for them…so I am grateful Adonai simply moves me and challenges me to wait on Him. My flesh may screech, but my heart is being built up in ways only He can know how to maneuver.

May God be with you all and continue to dwell, work and will within you…and may He move us ever more towards seeing Him face to face! Yeshua (Jesus) grace and peace be the foundation, and may the Spirit be the fresh wind to keep our ears, eyes, and hearts ever in His keeping!

Waiting, Not Running (Spurgeon’s Faith’s Checkbook)

August 11, 2013 at 3:18 am (Devotionals)

Waiting, Not Running
August 11

Truly my soul waiteth upon God: from him cometh my salvation. (Psalm 62:1)

Blessed posture! Waiting truly and only upon the Lord. Be this our condition all this day and every day. Waiting His leisure, waiting in His service, waiting in joyful expectation, waiting in prayer, and content. When the very soul thus waits, it is in the best and truest condition of a creature before his Creator, a servant before his Master, a child before his Father. We allow no dictation to God, nor complaining of Him; we will permit no petulance and no distrust. At the same time, we practice no running before the cloud and no seeking to others for aid: neither of these would be waiting upon God. God, and God alone, is the expectation of our hearts.

Blessed assurance! From Him salvation is coming; it is on the road. It will come from Him and from no one else. He shall have all the glory of it, for He alone can and will perform it. And He will perform it most surely in His own time and manner. He will save from doubt, and suffering, and slander, and distress. Though we see no sign of it as yet, we are satisfied to bide the Lord’s will, for we have no suspicion of His love and faithfulness. He will make sure work of it before long, and we will praise Him at once for the coming mercy.

Rules for Prosperity (Spurgeon’s Faith’s Checkbook)

August 7, 2013 at 12:04 am (Thoughts to Ponder)

Rules for Prosperity
August 7

Only be thou strong and very courageous, that thou mayest observe to do according to all the law, which Moses my servant commanded thee: turn not from it to the right hand or to the left, that thou mayest prosper whithersoever thou goest. (Joshua 1:7)

Yes, the Lord will be with us in our holy war, but He demands of us that we strictly follow His rules, Our victories will very much depend upon our obeying Him with all our heart, throwing strength and courage into the actions of our faith.

If we are halfhearted we cannot expect more than half a blessing. We must obey the Lord with care and thoughtfulness. “Observe to do” is the phrase used, and it is full of meaning. This is referred to every part of the divine will; we must obey with universal readiness. Our rule of conduct is “according to all the law.” We may not pick and choose, but we must take the Lord’s commands as they come, one and all. In all this we must go on with exactness and constancy

Ours is to be a straightforward course which bends neither to the right nor to the left. We are not to err by being more rigid than the law, nor turn out of levity to a more See and easy way. With such obedience there will come spiritual prosperity. O Lord, help us to see if it be not even so! We shall not test Thy promise in vain.
