Church, Bride ~ Beloved of Messiah

September 11, 2013 at 3:57 pm (Remodeling the Mind)

Do you attend church – everyday?
Do you realize that each day you awake that right where you are is the cathedral of Adonai’s (the Lords) anointing?
Or…do you still think He is found in a building with walls, roofs, plumbing and full of “programs”?
That one day a week God stops by to do an “attendance count” and calls those His people?

Shall we look at who all scripture says to watch and see where “church” was for the Son of God, Yeshua (Jesus) the Messiah.

Yeshua spent 90% of His ministry among His neighborhood…not in buildings…but in communities. The Father placed the Son in Galilee (Israel), this was His will for His Son. This was where He lived church. Right next door, up the block, around the corner…every face was a mission…every person a child of Adonai Elohim’s making. These were who He taught were our brothers and sisters. Even though they did not believe, or understand the truth.

The seventh day, the appointed day of rest was 1st exampled by He who created, then we are asked…”If you love Me, do as I do!” Rest was the ceasing from doing all He wanted, to giving all HE IS! For six days we labor for food, housing, maintenances of all we’ve been given. All the time we are to worship Him who gives…six days and the seventh is the ACT of worship…giving. Not taking in the Word, not gathering for fellowship to boost egos and compare religious notes. The Sabbath is about spanning out into the church (community) He has placed you in and giving…giving…giving of the one thing we have no control over…time.
24 hours, not of “us oriented” activity…family, friends, or home, but of Adonai’s beloved’s…lost…still needing a light to shine their way HOME…to His home. Its about attending sacrifice and learning rejection for the sake of His name. Its about one day where you put all you have out there and say…Yeshua is my only treasure. More to me than my children, family, friends, home, cars, things, dreams, hobbies…today everything is about Him and He is about everything.

Its not so much that we do this just one day a week; for be sure that if He is not about everything and everything above all else everyday, Sunday won’t be enough…or Saturday…or whatever day you choose to consider your Sabbath. (And believe me, if Tuesday is the day you choose to serve as Sabbath…God does not care a wit about which day!) Too many arguments lay in the field of the enemies camp with the sounds of….”no! Its Saturdays!” “No, Sundays because its the day He rose again!” Ask Yeshua yourselves…yes…ask Him!! He would just as well call everyday Monday than listen to mankind drivel about one or the other!!

Be clear, there is no distinction of Jew, Gentile, Catholic, Protestant, in Heaven. There, in the Kingdom, are those who are blind to labels and see only the Father’s will there. For the Son, Yeshua the Messiah is the cloak of distinction each one wears…and only the Father can tell the originals from the second hands. In short, ones pursuit must be to know Adonai and become only what He would have of one be…that is singular of heart. Anything other than this will lead to a broad road full of false illusions about Him and who you are. The Sabbath, day of rest is a sign of who you yield to every minute of every hour of every day. It is a man-made tradition to “go to church”…not the God of Abram, Isaac, and Jacob, Yeshua the Messiah, the Holy Spirit. We gather as often as we can to encourage, build up and search out the will of the Father…this is the “forsake not” of the gathering mentioned in Hebrews 10:25. But when we are calling a day, the Lords Day be sure its the lost you are seeking…not the found. Be sure its praise you are giving, not soaking up for your edification. Be sure its the food of Adonai’s table you are serving, not a soup kitchen for a perishable body. The Kingdom of Heaven is about tending the eternal…not the temporal.

Every radio program with “preachers” attached say “Go to church”, and instruct on a specified “prayer” for repentance. In scriptural terms they are saying…”go home, and knock on your neighbors door…look to see if there is a light there…if so add your oil to their lamps, if not pour your oil on their feet.” As to the “sinners prayer”…this can have no “words” but simply be a heart surrendered to the truth only God can speak to a once unyeilded soul…in a alley with nothing but the angels to attend the heart that is broken enough to be repaired. THERE IS NO RITUAL TO the Father! It is PERSONAL! Not professional. Its not business to Adonai! Its about His kids, and there are no short cuts, no second bases, no cut backs, no time outs! He is furious with human reasoning, blocking the way to the simplicity of His open arms. Open your eyes and see!! Ask Him to heal the blindness if you cannot.
Church is NOT a Sunday service…its a pair of feet and hands willing to go…door to door…to other feet and hands offering what’s been given, nothing more…nothing less, in the character and strength of Yeshua the Messiah…repeating exactly what He said to say…

“The Kingdom of Heaven is here!”

Isaiah 58:13-14

“If you hold back your foot on Shabbat from pursuing your own interest on My holy day; if you call Shabbat a delight, Adonai’s holy day, worth honoring; then honor it by not doing your usual things or pursuing your interest or speaking about them.
If you do, you will find delight in Adonai (the Lord) – I will make you ride on the heights of the land and feed you with the heritage of your ancestor Ya’akov (Jacob), for the mouth of Adonai has spoken.”

Mark 2:27 ~ Yeshua speaking…

Then He said to them, “Shabbat was made for mankind, not mankind for Shabbat; so the Son of Man is Lord even of Shabbat.”

Matthew 15:8-9 ~ Yeshua speaking…

“These people honor Me with their lips, but their hearts are far away from Me. Their worship of Me is useless, because they teach man-made rules as if they were doctrines.” (Isaiah 29:13)

Remember my fellow sheep, we are the called and the few, NEVER has Elohim one time ever called one of His children to a pew. It is to His feet we are called, and once there – there is nothing we will not give up, pour out, and not hold out to our Savior – especially our selves!
We are the body of Messiah, even broken we are complete. Shalom.

Grace and peace in Yeshua the Messiah ❤

Think you’re off on this one. The early church DID meet together on the Sabbath, and hear God’s Word taught, and fellowship with one another… bathing off the ungodly thinking of the world and renewing their minds with Truth. And the Word tells us not to forsake that, but to gather together and encourage one another to godly living all the more as the Day draws near.(Heb.10:25 http://www.biblegateway.comverseenHebrews%2010%3A25) To be under the authority of the leaders God has chosen to shepherd His flock. (1 Thess.5:12-13; Heb. 13:17) Then, we are to so live for Him amongst our unbelieving neighbors that they see the Truth, and experience His Love, and are drawn to Messiah God. The problem isn’t gathering together for worship, the problem is that believers aren’t living according to God’s standards anymore, so the world doesn’t see a difference. There should be a very clear difference! We aren’t saved so that we can live any way we want! We are saved to live holy lives that act as His hands and feet and mouth in a world of lost and dying souls that need Him! That’s what we are to be about as we are doing our work the other 6 days! If you want to reach out to others on the Sabbath, before/after your times of gathering together with believers, that’s great! But don’t neglect gathering with believer’s, and being accountable to godly mean that will shepherd you! The Bible clearly teaches that!

      Ahhh dear Brother JD,
While I agree 100% that the LIVING the life of the Messiah is what is lacking so desperately today, I stand by the conviction Adonai placed on my heart for this post.
I will state for absolute truth, that I encourage NOONE to neglect the gathering of the brethren, which I did state in the post and encourage NONE to be unsubmissive to their leaders. The heart of this post was to bring to light how “church” has taken the turn of moral action by attending and entertainment and seeking to be fed (a “its all about me” attitude).
I am guilty for the above, dear Brother…so I have no attack on anyone.
Why Adonai made the Sabbath is very important…one cannot truly celebrate it without His teaching this.
Forgive me if you found offence in my words, JD. Perhaps if you go back and read them you will see the message you got was not within the words of this post.
Isn’t it amazing how touchy we can be about our traditions? Yet we bypass it so easy…that Yeshua spoke so harshly against our sensitivity to them. God is more passionate for His sabbath than man could ever be.
The ultimate law we are to follow is Love and Forgiveness…this is our Supreme Authority…and it originates from Adonai alone, not from man. He is our ultimate Authority.
What makes a man or woman Godly? Not what THEY do but GOD. It is therefore very easy to submit to them when they are because we know WHO is willing and making them like Him to do His work. Their humility bends them away from recognition from humans, they only desire that God get the glory and be recognized 1st and foremost.
I submit to such as these. But without apology, I bring myself ONLY under Yeshua as my Authority. And in so doing, I submit to those who do the same.
Thank you for taking the time to feedback in the Spirit of honesty. I truly do appreciate it. 🙂

Totally agree that a lot of people may gather for the wrong reasons/ with wrong motivation… and they may need to pray about that and repent and change their focus. And they may need to realize that we are called to reach out to all the lost around us at all times. But even as I reread your post, it doesn’t seem to me that you are encouraging the gathering together of believers, and accountablility to them and the church leaders… seems like you are railing aGAINST that (“a man-made tradition”) and advocating going out into the community on the Sabbath and reaching out to the lost as what is to be done. Even Jesus went to the temples on the Sabbath, and read Scripture and participated in the feasts, etc. Not to be neglected.
I just discovered your blog yesterday I think, and liked some of what I saw, and this is the first post that came up after I confirmed following you… and while this one makes some valid points, about the church not being a building, and that church isn’t about US, I just don’t think it is fully on target with Scripture. Maybe I’m just not reading it the way you intended it.
It’s okay… I haven’t found another human being on the face of the earth yet that I agree 100% with! 😉 We’re both in different places in the growth process.

Lisa I love this post! I was so disappointed yesterday at church. The pastor message was about how we need to drag everyone to church. Like you, I believe we are the church, not the building. Thanks for this post! Love you dear sister.

Its so important…one of the most important message Yeshua (Jesus) “punched through”…it often makes me wonder…”Does anyone REALLY listen to Him?” Of course they do, but we are slow to learn (myself included).
Much love Sister Toni…Yeshua be with you…
