God Said it First

October 18, 2014 at 1:08 am (Remodeling the Mind, Thoughts to Ponder) (, , , , , , , , , , )

If it is Truth, pure, right, worthy, or wise. ..God said it first. When I read other authors, listen to other speakers/teachers. ..I listen for the sign that they belong to God. The words they speak; though arranged differently, some more expanded, some more simple; have a ‘ring’ to them. They are repeats for what Adonai (the Lord God), Yeshua (Jesus), or the Spirit has spoken from the dawn of time. The Word of the Living God.
Those who wrote what is now called The Bible were taught, inspired, or directly told what to say by God, Himself. Paul said he was taught by Yeshua Himself. The apostles witnessed themselves the speaking, teaching and living of Yeshua. .. their ‘books’ come as a result of that and their own living, walking relationship with Yeshua.

The following are quotes by various people; some still alive, some now part of the cloud of witnesses. Below the quote is the Living Word… where it was said first… or at least where it can be traced back to where its been said by God before any human. Solomon is famous for ‘his’ wisdom but we know he asked for wisdom from God. Hence where his wisdom comes. Ours too. .. and those who have come and gone and yet will be. If they will have wisdom. .. it too will come only from God. He has the copy write. .. but the thing is. .. He is happy to share and let us put His truth and wisdom into words that present day audiences will be able to understand. He gets the glory. .. There is no doubt in His mind. 🙂

Luke 13:24-25
He answered, “Struggle to get into the narrow door, because I’m telling you – many will be demanding to get in and will not be able to, once the owner of the house has gotten up and shut the door. You will stand outside knocking at the door saying, ‘Lord, Open up for us!’ But He will answer, ‘I don’t know you or where you came from.’

John 17:3;20-21
And eternal life is this: to know You (the Father), the One true God, and Him whom You sent, Yeshua the Messiah.
I pray not only for these, but also for those who will trust in Me because of their word, that they may all be one. Just as You, Father, are united with Me and I with You, I pray that they may be united with Us, so that the world may believe that You sent Me.

2 Peter 1:20-21
First of all, understand this: no prophecy of Scripture is to be interpreted by an individual on his own (without the Spirit); for never has a prophecy come as a result of human willing – on the contrary, people moved by the Ruach HaKodesh (The Holy Spirit) spoke a message from God.

John 14:26
But the Counselor, the Ruach HaKodesh, whom the Father will send in My Name, will teach you everything; that is, He will remind you of everything I have said to you.

Grace and peace in Yeshua the Messiah
