Seeds

Reuben and Achim (A-keem) were walking home from a late morning trek out to fish at the small lake about 3 miles from the family farm. Reuben took his chosen path to swing wide around the Zac Farm to come home at the far end of their own homestead. There was a giant tree there, Achim’s favorite. The tree was said to be two hundred years old, though none could know for sure without cutting it down to count the rings. Reuben’s father, Abe, had carefully constructed a swing on the tree. Unlike most, who usually attached a rope to a sturdy high up limb, Abe had opted to do an addition to the tree. It was a grafted in limb of his making, attached to the main trunk of the tree; a brilliant set of pulleys, chains and ropes gave the swing it’s life. Abe had said to attach the usual way would wound the tree and weaken the whole thing, eventually the limb would fall off threatening to harm the precious child (or adult) who sat upon it to share it’s joy. Achim knew the story well as he had asked for Reuben and his wife to tell him nearly every year. It had become the father and sons special spot recently. Reuben was in the special forces of the military. Whenever he was about to be “shipped out” He found a way to make their way to the tree to tell Achim. He would part with his son, having given him a gift and a nice long swing session the day before he shipped out. Achim was now ten years old, hardly a child anymore. Yet still small enough at heart to carry the tenderness of years before manhood would begin to shape him. Achim was prattling on about the huge fish his friend Danny had caught just before they left the lake. Reuben smiled, ahhh…the freedom of youth with excitement filling all things. Well, most things.

Finally the big tree came into view and Achim exclaimed his joy, dropping his pole and running straight for the swing.

Reuben stooped to pick up the pole.

“I’ll set up the blanket and food”, he hollered.

Achim was fast and already swinging with gusto!

So many memories here, Lord God, keep them ingrained upon my heart in the days ahead.

The meal laid out, Reuben enjoyed watching Achim and began to nibble on a carrot. He hadn’t realized how hungry he was till then.

“Come on, Keem, I’m starved, let’s eat!” He called.

Achim flew off the swing in midair, making a perfect ten landing at a run for the food. He came to a stop and plopped down. Reuben pulled out the chicken and salad, chips and veggies and they began to feast. The two o’clock sun was veiled by the giant protector they sat beneath. The day was perfect, blue skies and whispy clouds with a slight breeze to cool them down in the 85° Idaho sun. Father and son exchanged hungry looks and giggles as they consumed their lunch.

“Did ye have a good time, Keem?” He asked. Prepping the soil for words to sew the next segment of time.

Achim shook his head vigorously, bright eyes gleaming…”Mmmhuummm!” He munched.

They continued to eat until they were satisfied. Reuben allowed the silence to water the soil.

“You’re going away again, huh, Papa.” It was a statement, not a question.

“Indeed, I am, Achim. How did you know?” Reuben pretended to be curious.

The boy shrugged his shoulders. “Just knew…” came the reply.

Again quiet breezes filled the air between them for a time.

“So what will you be giving me this time?” Again it was more like a statement than a question. No bitterness colored his tone. Reuben thanked the Lord.

Reuben reached into his pocket and pulled out a small seed. Achim arched his posture toward his hands with curious aplomb. Reuben opened his hands and pulled the boys hand to him, placing the seed in his sons hand.

“It’s a tree.” He said, with a smile, a knowing thought, synchronized with his sons head, as it cocked to one side, unconvinced.

“It’s a seed Papa, not a tree!” Achim said with youthful authority.

“Nope, a whole tree is inside that seed, it just needs to grow, son.” He added, with renewed enthusiasm.

It was comically predictable when Achim’s head zoomed into the seed in his hand with a look of epiphany.

“Wow, I never thought of it like that! A…whole…tree…well, of course it’s all got to be there in some way, huh?” Achim was an endless learner and open to big thoughts. He always had been.

“But – well it can’t all be in there, it needs the stuff from the ground and water and sunshine and stuff to be a tree, though.” Ten year old deduction flowed out of his mouth.

“Let’s think about that a minute. Look around, there’s one tree here. All around for quite some distance, no other trees. But soil and water and sunshine abound. So why do you suppose there are not more trees?” Reuben primed the pump.

Achim scanned the scene around them, looked up and down and back at the tree. Then his gaze fell in new wonder to the seed in his hand.

“Thank you, Papa, for my tree!” Achim wrapped his arms around Reuben’s neck. “You always give the neatest gifts! When can we plant it? Can we plant it out here next to Grandpa Abe’s tree?” The boy released his snuggle and looked into Reuben’s eyes.

Ach, Adonai, what have I done to deserve this son?

“Well…I don’t see why not.” He smiled.

“When?! When?!” Achim’s excitement was better than the meal they had just consumed. And Laura knew how to satisfy not just the hunger, but the palette!

“Let’s plan it for the weekend after I return, eh? Sound good?”

Achim’s excitement faded and turned introspective. Silence hung and swung in the air like the swing on the tree. Reuben let it gestate.

“What if you don’t come home this time?” ‘The question’ wrapped a breeze around them both, cold and foreboding.

Reuben pulled his Keem into his lap and wrapped his arms around him. Placing his hands over the seed-filled hand of his son.

“We have talked about that possibility my dear boy, it’s true, Adonai could make that decision. But He tells us not to anticipate death, but hold on to life, dear Keem. So that we must do!”

Achim’s small head rubbed in the affirmative against his chest. Reuben sensed the tears before he saw one drop down into the now open palm with the seed. His heart broke. The tears of a child are a precious gift, but hard to want to receive.

“Do you know what your name means, Achim Kaleb Seth?” Reuben hardly realized the words were in his mind before his heart held them out to his voice. He smiled, and looked up to acknowledge His Makers mind.

“Yes.” sniff. “It’s God made me, or something like that.”

“Well…close. Achim means; constructed by God. Kaleb means; to be faithful. And our shared last name means, Appointed One. So, in truth, your whole name means; constructed by God to be faithful to the Appointed One. Do you know what that means?” Reuben again primed the pump.

“Yes, it means God made me to be faithful to Him.” Came the half hearted answer.

Reuben turned his son around and sat him in front of him to see face to face.

“Not just faithful to God, but His Appointed One, Yeshua the Mashiach, God’s Son! You must understand fully, my son, that your name is your character. We chose it very carefully, eight days after you were born, we prayed to Adonai for the direction of the nature He shaped in you while you lived in your Mama’s tummy. You see we didn’t know all He was doing as you grew, like that seed, inside the womb of His construction. We prayed, asked Him for a healthy child, for a child with much heart, but we didn’t know until that eighth day what He wanted us to say to you everyday. ‘Constructed by Yahweh, let’s go fishing; constructed by Yahweh, have you learned your aleph-bet, I love you, constructed by Yahweh, faithful one to the Son of God, my son!’  These words continue to shape you everyday in agreement with Yahweh from the Beginning. It’s no small thing your name, Achim Kaleb Seth, you are constructed by the very words and breath of God. He will care for you with the same detail in every moment of your life. So don’t fear what may come. Only keep your eyes on this One, the One who made you, and all will be well. Do you believe this, my son?” Reuben held his face very close to Achim’s and waited.

Light was dawning in the mind of Achim as he let his father’s gaze penetrate his heart.

“Yes, Papa, I will remember what you say, and I will try to only think of you alive and just gone for a trip.” Came the world of enormous answer from the lips of this babe!

Reuben’s eyes swelled with tears. Again he embraced his child.

“We’ll all think the same with you, Achim, well constructed by God! As we all think of our Salvation, remember what He said and think only of Him as on a trip, coming soon, to take us all home! Yes, of course yes!” He laughed. Achim joined him.

“What does your name mean, Papa?” Achim pulled out of the embrace and curiosity regained it’s status in his spirit.

“Reuben means; see my son. Yashir means; God will answer and our shared last name means; Appointed One. So my name means; See! My son! God will answer His Appointed One! It’s an awesome name, it protects me, guides me, holds me, and shields me!” It had been a while since Reuben had pondered his name. He smiled as big as the tree next to them in renewed wonder. He would keep it in mind as he was away.

“It’s an awesome name Papa! I like it!. He will protect you while you are away! Mama says that Adonai hears His Sons prayers all the time and Yeshua always prays for our protection! She showed me the Scripture! I am happy grandpa Abe named you like you named me!” Achim smiled in wonder.

“Indeed! And listen! Our names together show us the way. See! My Son! God will answer! And constructed by God will be faithful to the Appointed Ones prayer! What joy we have to be named by Him and put together, eh?”

“Yes, Papa! I love that! I will write it down and put it by my bed so I can read it every time I see it and put my prayers with God’s! Thank you for my seed-gift, and fishing today. I love you, Papa!”

The squeeze that embraced Reuben with those words joined it’s voice with praise to the tree that they sat under and the tree in the palm of Achim’s hand. They sat there for a while together, watching the sun shift it’s path around the veil of the tree until they felt the veil fall away and the sun full upon their faces.

Sorrow = Opportunity

September 1, 2016 at 5:00 am (Devotionals, Remodeling the Mind, Thoughts to Ponder, WSGD Newes) (, , , , , , , , , , , )

“Sometimes the evidence of our senses and the testimony of the world’s wisdom are plain wrong. Sometimes the Lord is busy forging victory when the mind expects only defeat.”

– Tessa Afshar ~ Land of Silence

There is something universal about every human condition. Language does not change it. Geography does not change it. Personality, nationality, and religious tendencies do not change it. Love that lights the eyes of a soul, looks the same no matter the color of irises. Arms that reach out in tenderness can be of any color or size,  dressed or naked. Sorrow, despair, agony and depravity are all pregnant with God-touched opportunity.

These are the conditions that form the questions of “when, how, where, and why” from the depths of souls world-wide. Embalmed with freedom or anchored to yet more slavery; sorrow seeks to unhinge the hands that lay hold of anything but the One who made them. Human beings are always at the peak of ability to learn when their mind, body and emotions are tossed into the sea of adversity, trial, suffering, loss, and torture. We can learn in happiness, but it doesn’t retain the depth of engraving on the memory as sorrow. Hence why we forget the good so quickly when hardship starts to ink it’s way into our grey matter. Likewise we recall so well the negative and hopelessness colors our spirits so immediate we feel shot into another world in an instant. There is no place else that brings us all to a unified place in the human condition. It’s often said love is such a place but I beg the differ. There are too many illusions of love for such a unity to be possible. No one is can paint sorrow with different colors. It’s very darkness outlines the same light no matter the shadow of the Sun or moon in the sky.

All my life it seems as if God has placed some special favor on me. Where my sister seemed to struggle and have to push for the simplest joys. Yet at every turn, our sorrows held the same DNA of pain and questions. Circumstances are the greatest illusions of favoritism. As I write, my sister sits where she is full of joys, doubts, gratitude, and questions the same as I. Yet, on the outside anyone would say she has it harder than I. Often I’m tempted to agree. Yet in each of our varying circumstances these things are the same: We are in places where God has provided abundantly, yet wonder what is next. We struggle with hurt, resentment, anger, bitterness, physical deficiencies, heart aches and knee bloodying prayers for our children and grandchildren; loved ones, we both sing, we both cry, we both are loved and misunderstood. That which makes us up inside, pours out from within, and effects us from without though incredibly unique, we are the same. Both of us are being taught everyday Who made us and why. We both have illusions, deceit, kindness, generosity, compassion, tendencies to complain, aches and pains, things hidden and things exposed, things being revealed, things on the way to unveiling, promise, hope and despair and sorrow.

The purpose of comparison is not for comparison itself, but for defining the difference between what’s on the outside and what’s on the inside. Outside looks different, inside does not.

“God’s Spirit can ride a puny breeze as well as a hurricane.”

– Tessa Ashfar ~ Land of Silence

Psalms 16:11

You make known to me the path of life; in Your presence is unbounded joy, in Your right hand eternal delight.

The Word of God is true for one and all, all the time, everywhere. The above scripture offers the same salve to the human heart no matter their circumstances. Sorrow is an opportunity to watch God become a heavenly Father for every soul on earth. Pain provides the path to true knowing who we are and why we’re here. God alone can provide the answers to our questions, and keeps them all open-ended. The answer today will not be the same as tomorrow. Except that Who He is and how He loves us, desires us and reaches for us, never changes and carries not one ounce of favor for one over the other. Our circumstances can not and must not define the riches of His glory. Circumstances are all of the following: outward characters, features; singleness or married, childless or having children, wealthy or poor, sick or healthy, geographic locations, personality traits, internal make up, extroverted or introverted, talented with art or talented with intellect, high or low IQ’s. To name a few, but hitting the main things. Everyone one of those things are the intricate detail drawn by the Hand of Adonai on each one for their good and those they effect and His glory. Sorrow gives us the glasses to correct our vision in life; for joy is it’s designation and it won’t stop until it’s reached its goal. For you, for me, thanks be to God! The definition of true joy for every soul He made is Himself, nothing more and absolutely nothing less.

In a world that is changing and churning, this one constant remains. Psalms 16:11, Is. 50:4…

Jeremiah 31:25

For I have satisfied the weary and filled the needs of all in distress.

Matthew 11:28

Come to ME, all of you who are struggling and burdened, and I will give you rest.

The reason why our Messiah invited all who are struggling and burdened but not “happy” is because we all are struggling and burdened, not happy. Oh we may have joy and contentment, but they always come after sorrow, and after we have accepted His invitation to receive such rest. Waiting on Him, running to Him is the only path to such joy and peace/rest. For each of us this is the same. Sorrow aimed at His unveiling, His presence, His company, His love, His compassion, His comfort, His answer, His directions, His discernment, this is sorrows purpose. Don’t miss the opportunity. Don’t be tempted to compare, or focus on the outward appearance of things. Hold on to Yeshua  (Jesus) our Messiah and Master… and let Him order up the exact prescription for your knowing Him. Pray for each other thusly. Praise Him in their joys and walk beside them in their sorrows.

Praise

May 6, 2016 at 12:45 am (Devotionals, Remodeling the Mind, Thoughts to Ponder, WSGD Newes) (, , , , , , , , , , , )

What is the essence of Praise?

Is it just knowing God is? How often does it come easy when He paints a wondrous sky? When He does anything to make us smile? How does one apply the sacrifice of praise? This question lays heavy on my heart theses days. Almost every believer I know (almost) doesn’t seem to grasp the concept of sacrificial praise. When asked in a poll, nine out of ten believers could not quote a scripture that speaks of sacrificial praise. May seem rather inconsequential unless you realize how often its referenced in the Word. 218 times the word sacrifice is in the Word, half of them include praise with them. In the half that doesn’t refer to praise directly with it, it gives strong indications of it being in conjuction to or related to, or a result of. ..pretty incredible.

To sacrifice means to give something up. To praise means to lift something or someone up in exaltation. Put together, as the Word repeatedly states it, we sacrifice the opposite of praise for praise of God . After all it would hardly be a sacrifice to praise God when I’m happy. It would seem these days that we have this assumption that we are entitled to our feelings. So praise can come after I’ve had my pout, rant, disappointment, hurt, anger – especially if it comes on the heals of injustice. Yet as I enter into the presence of God, and He teaches me, He clearly says to sacrifice my feelings and with all my heart, mind, and soul praise Him, especially when I can hardly dredge up a thin whisp of His praise-worthiness, this is true sacrifice. It requires faith. Faith in the God who is working at all times to and for the good of those that love Him. This is a foundational truth that must be lived. How better to live it than to practice it? Or do it. Something can’t live, as dead words on a page, it must become active to live. Dying to oneself will always come with the sacrifice of one’s feelings. Not the ignorance of them, or denial, but the will turning towards the Father and actively willing itself into the Kingdom of Praise. It’s the arm wrestle of me and my view verses God and His. Every promise He has made can be used to contradict a complaint from human lips. Yes, every single one. Noone keeps their promises like God, not one.

Someone once said, “I really can’t see one thing today that is worth praising“. For those in throws of this temptation let me share a perspective. Everyday, in order for the day to be called a day, the sun must have risen(God be praised), in order for one to be able to call a day a day, one must have been given breath to enter into it(God be praised). One may argue, “what if I wish God had taken me Home instead?” Simply put, then your will has not entered into His, for if you were willed to go Home to be with Him, your breaths would have ceased and there you would be. So. ..sacrifice your will to the sovereign God you say you believe in and thank Him for the day He has made, ask Him to change your heart and open your eyes to the gift of the day you are in and thank Him for your purpose in His will to be here, now.

What does it cost you to call yourself a follower of Christ? Have you been stoned (with real rocks, not weed) for your belief in Him? Do you know the sacrifice of not doing the thing you think you can’t live without, just because He said “Live without it.” Do we truly know that when He says that He is prophecying? Literally, if you give it up, you will really and truly live, actively putting His Word to action, faith being a real live thing working inside you. This is Life, the Life Yeshua (Jesus) came to give. The Life He lived, and now we can by the power of His Spirit live too. I can honestly say I never succeed at such sacrifice, until I’ve admitted my defeat in ability and asked for the Spirit to give me praise instead. I can’t drudge praise up on my own. So, you see the denial of the feelings that cause complaint, pout, rage, bitterness, doubt, comparison, etc – may indeed be acknowledged but not lived instead they must be sacrificed, exchanged for what we don’t possess. The only reason we reason to our advantage to keep our feelings and “work through them”, is simply because we don’t want to let them go. Not one person has ever worked through their feelings leading to life, faith in God. Read Hebrews 11. There is no mention of one hint of one person of Faith who “worked through their feelings But had faith. Not one. Every single one, sacrificed their feelings and turned towards God to obtain faith. Often our feelings are cronic lairs. Why? Because they are hitched to our comfort, our perspective, our desires, our failures, the fallen nature of this world. But, what about delight, joy, love, compassion. ..aren’t theses feelings, you ask? Depends. Depends on Who gives them to you. Do you delight at the sunset? Any question as to Who gets the credit for it? And love? This is constantly being defined by feelings, it’s not a feeling, Love is and always will be a choice. Love is sacrifice, if you don’t sacrifice for the one you say you love, you don’t love them. To sacrifice in love, one must give up something of themselves for the other. It must cost something. Another long subject for another blog, but love is not a feeling, it’s a result of feelings being yielded to Love Himself. What does the Word say about joy? I won’t answer this for you, look it up, study it, it’s not a feeling we come by as good little human beings in and of ourselves. All things good – every single good thing ever only and ever will come from God. If you experience it, thank Him for it, cause we don’t get joy without Him or compassion, or delight. One may argue; “but non-believers delight in sunsets“. So? This is evidence of the contrary of what is true about sunsets? Whether one believes or not, God made sunsets, and if one delights at one, they delight in Him, whether they acknowledge it or not. The Author of the sunset does not change, and why wouldn’t He give delight to anyone for admiring His work? That is the amazing thing about God, He doesn’t wait to be who He is, do what He does, on us to believe Him or acknowledge Him. Never has, never will. He came while we were yet sinners, remember? Yes, indeed, even the sinners are given delight in the things that come from God alone.
But, praise, sacrificial praise, this is only given to them that believe and acknowledge Him. Those without Him are quite incapable of faith. But lest, we who follow and live for God be proud, we, too are incapable without Him. The difference is, we who have let Him take over our lives, have been given the power of the Spirit of God to do the things of God. So we see, it all comes from Him, not us. This why, I believe, that nine out of every ten of those believers in that poll, had no clue about sacrificial praise. It’s the stumbling stone we trip over, living a life we get credit for vs. living a life He gets credit for. Indeed it’s a contradiction to even say, I can live my own life. My life is dead if lived for me. Only Life and God go hand in hand. Without Him, death is the only result of anything.

I belabor, but I do so at the lead of the God of Life. Read up about sacrificial praise in His Word, ask Him to expand upon it into your limbs. You’ll find, much of the walk with Him will have this sacrificial praise as it’s hallmark. It takes faith to praise God when bills are due and money is no where to pay, it takes faith to believe He is working in such detail while the over due notices are stamped out. It takes faith to praise God for accidents and floods. It takes faith to praise God for hiccups and delays. Faith is trust in action. A moving, living trust that moves our lips towards praise and our hearts, minds and bodies in line with them. Every single person on the planet has trust issues. Don’t claim that as special or unique to you. Hint, God never said to trust anyone but Him. Most the time we have trust issues, it’s because we trusted the people He made, or ourselves instead of Him in the first place. Trust issues are cured only by trusting only in God. Faith can only come from a living active trust in God. Sacrificial praise is the epitome of faith!

Hebrews 11:1
Trusting is being confident of what we hope for, convinced about things we do not see.

Hebrews 13:15
Through Him, therefore, let us offer God a sacrifice of praise continually. For this is the natural product of lips that acknowledge His Name.

Psalms 50:14-15
Offer thanksgiving as your sacrifice to God, pay your vows to the Most High, and call to Me when you are in trouble; I will deliver you, and you will honor Me.

Timeless and Priceless

Some things in time cannot, should not, be wrestled with.

There are moments in time, countless really, where Life opens up from every direction. Flooding the borders and cliffs of your soul. Running down the ravines and valleys, not missing the touching of each rock, leaf, tree, trunk, and speck of dust that makes up the vessel of you. Often, too often in life, I have been so busy, so into myself and “my life” that these moments can now only be looked back on and acknowledged in hindsight. But when they happen and I can be fully present in them I am filled, as Yeshua (Jesus) spoke of when He said rivers of Living Water would flow. Fully present is a term used often and vaguely. What I mean by it is:
The ability to allow all that is, both good and delightful, and hard and contrasting (often called “bad” and difficult) to come and be welcomed into my sphere. Both these things in myself and everyone and everything around me. Seeing through the Eyes of Him, the “perfection” that all things are to Him.

There have been so many of these moments this year, I am unable to count them. To begin to even list them briefly on this blog would make it long and monotonous. Not one person I know, not just love deeply, but just know, has not been part of them. Not one event or situation in its slightest detail has escaped the infusing of Life at its very substance and solidarity. Mystery is the best word for it, but to my soul the mystery is not perplexing or disturbing. It’s okay to be unable to define the indefinable. These moments can not be fully taken in without letting go of needing to understand it all. Like contrast art,  with its blob and slash-like strokes, one can not try to find an object one knows within it for the purpose of definition. One must simply take it in, and let it become something words in the intellect can’t express. God’s rhythm and pulse throb within them, thus the flow. LIFE! There are no spare parts, no unsettled, no unresolved, unfinished, imperfect themes within them. Though everyone, myself and circumstances fall far from the realm of perfection by human standards, these moments don’t care, they LIVE!

Praise You God! Praise and glory! You are mighty, powerful, and awesome! YOUR works are perfect. Grafting in every part into an eternal Goodness and Light beyond imagining. Mercy, grace, forgiveness, trust, hope, peace, loveliness, purity – all these things are the dominating features of Your face within the ticking of the clock, rising and setting of the Sun, ebb and flow of the moon and tide, spin and shape of the countless stars – the story of Your glory given as such a precious gift in the measure of what we call time. Praise You, Abba, for Your great Love! Mighty, and powerful, so full of amazing POWER! Fearsome and breathtaking power! Yet I alight upon it with tender butterfly wings. Made like steel in beauty and yet still totally vulnerable to the slightest touch of Your breath. Nothing compares to You! Thank You for Life as You send it and ask that it be received. Thank You for enabling any of us to hold out our hands in the slightest gesture of reception of it. Come, come pour out Your Spirit upon us! And we shall be saved, and LIVE! Fully alive in You!

My Child…

September 22, 2015 at 11:06 am (Devotionals, recommended reading, Remodeling the Mind, Thoughts to Ponder) ()

image

My Child,

See I’ve went before you today
I’ve measured exactly what you will need
I’ve paved the road, and left some parts bumpy
I’ve appointed opportunities for you to forgive, and be forgiven
To encourage, and be encouraged
To serve, and be served
To learn, and teach
To be still, and to use your mind to create, and come to new truths
I’ve appointed Truth to guide you
I’ve placed the exact amount of Light upon your path
Keep your eyes, just on the next step in front of you
I’ve taken care to make sure the next one is assured
Keep your mind stayed on Me
Keep your eyes trained on My Way
Tune your ears into the channel of My Spirit
He shall remind you of all I’ve spoken in the past that applies to today, and speak new things to you for both today and a future time you do not know
I’ve given you appointments for praise
But this whole day has been given for My glory
Trust Me, I promise you shall find I’m worthy of it
Look for Me, especially in the strange and hard moments, I show up in all things
I’ve included everyone you will need today, and left those out for a purpose
You shall lack nothing needful today
Train your wants to trust what I give
Remember I see far beyond your comprehension, I won’t leave anything out, I won’t miss a detail
You shall find love in unexpected places if you look, and this love will both be given away and received by you –
So don’t look for your cup to keep filling
Look for others cups to be filled instead
Don’t look for what I’m doing for you, look for what I do for all
Remember the dangers of self-pity, and thinking of yourself by turns
You cannot see My will by looking at yourself
I won’t show you My will for anyone else either
So remember not to think you know more than Me
Everyday the knowledge of all that concerns you changes
I promise to make sure you know what you need at all times
Don’t apply what I share with you to everyone else
That’s My job, to lead and guide My people
Speak only when I tell you to speak, nothing more, nothing less
When I say, “Be silent” trust that your words are not needed, but I’m still speaking
Remember My Child, the price I’ve paid for you, follow Him who has paved the Way
Know, lo, that I Am, is with you
I am like the air, at times, you can’t see it, but the proof of its steadfastness is in your breathing
I delight that today you can know Me more!
I long for you as no human longing could ever compare

My Child, I’ve given you to be a light this day
This day is full of every promise I’ve made from the beginning
I’m doing so much more than you can see
Hope has burst forth in floods, enter in, be swept away!
My Child, I’m sending My Son soon!
Share My heart with passion and no apologies
My promise is the most steadfast thing to cling to
My justice is on the way, let Me take care of all that seeks to harm you
My righteousness is yours for the taking, run after it as your choicest treasure
Pay no heed to the enemy behind the curtain of this world
There’s no power that moves you save Mine

My Child, open your arms wide to this day
Embrace it as a lover
What hurts and confuses shall hold no harm in reality
I know how I’ve made you
I know, My Child, every intricate detail of who I made you to be
Run to Me for your comfort, and you shall find it complete

I love you, My Child
I’m with you, My Child
I’m working all things for My good, which shall never leave you empty-handed or behind

My Child, I Am the God of all creation, the One True God, I retain control of all things, I can be trusted, I can be counted on, you are Mine, I claim you with honor and love and dignity. I have placed My glory inside you.

My Child, take joy and delight in your heritage
In your future
I’ve got you covered for eternity
Oh, the wonders we shall have in the days ahead!
I Am your Abba, I shall tend every wound, meet every need, and delight in every single thing about you.

My Child, My Child, how I delight to call you, My Child.
