The Hebrew word for work – adodah – עבודה – is the same for manual labor AND worshipping God. The picture we see here of the humans work is that it is also a form of worship.

Pivotal Question: #4

August 10, 2018 at 6:16 am (Remodeling the Mind, Thoughts to Ponder, WSGD Newes) (, , , , , , , , , , , , )

PQ #4: Did God really give people any indication that we should all be able to have free speech?

This question has bounced around my heart for a while now. I mean, I live somewhere (at least I have so far) where I can blog, talk, write a book, a song; use pretty much any form of communication I desire to talk about Yahweh (God the Father), Yeshua (Jesus), and the Holy Spirit, anytime, anywhere. The “right to freedom of speech” has awarded many profound freedom. Yet, as time moves forward, it’s apparent that this particular “right” got underwritten somewhere and is slowly eroding away. It is a hot topic. Recently a rather big name in what’s called alternative media got axed from Google and Apple, and Facebook. I won’t name individual names. This person was far from righteous, and frankly, I see that perhaps it was God’s way of shutting him up! Obviously, I’m not a fan. But several others that I do respect in this same genre of alternative news, they all spoke out about this incident. They all landed on this phrase: “I may not agree with what you say, but I’ll fight for your right to say it. Because if we lose this right we lose our right to say what we want.”

Something stuck in my gut about this. God persisted on knocking my heart with it. So I went to His Word looking for answers. I was stunned that I could not find one scripture to back up such a thing called “freedom of speech”. I mean, this country was supposed to be founded on Godly principles, freedom of speech was one of them. This is taught and has been as long as we’ve been a country. So where in heavens name did the “founders” find this principle in Gods Word?

This Proverb is particularly insightful.

Proverbs 17:28

Even a fool, if he stays silent, is thought wise; he who keeps his mouth shut can pass for smart.

Proverbs 18:2

A fool takes pleasure in trying to understand; he only wants to express his own opinion.

Proverbs 16:1

A person is responsible to prepare his heart; but how the tongue speaks is from Adonai.

Proverbs 20:19

A gossip goes around revealing secrets, so don’t get involved with a talkative person.

In fact, I couldn’t find a single Proverb to support the concept of freedom of speech. I moved on.

Ephesians 4:29

Let NO harmful language come from your mouth, only good words that are helpful in meeting the need, words that will benefit those who hear them.

There are two hebrew words for harmful:

Mam – מאס – meaning blemish / nothing. Defined as: Anything that is considered useless or without value. A blemish that causes something to be valueless.

R’ah – רע – meaning grievous/ bad. Defined as: something dysfunctional, wrong, evil or wicked. Even a feeling from bad circumstances.

Benefit in hebrew is very interesting and sheds new light on its context here.

Gemal – גמול – means yield. Defined as: the ripening of a crop or the weaning of a child as one now able to yield work. Also, the production of a product as a benefit or reward.

So taken in this new light the verse would read:

Let nothing considered useless or without value; or anything that causes something to become valueless; anything dysfunctional, evil or wicked come from your mouth, only good words that are helpful in meeting the need, words that will produce a benefit or reward as one able to yield work, for those who hear them.

This pretty much takes anything you’d watch on TV out of the contending for talking points. Anything on the news, or being discussed in the rooms of politicians.

What!?” You say. “Then how can we teach the truth”?

The next question is then: ‘is the Truth a what or Who?’

If you lead someone to the Who, He will take over aligning all of what’s needed to follow Him. In other words, it’s not our job to make sure we point out all the falseness in everything… it’s the Spirits express purpose to “lead to all Truth”. Which makes sense why the next verse in Ephesians 4:30 is placed there.

Don’t cause grief to Gods Ruach HaKodesh (Holy Spirit), for He has stamped you as His property until the day of final redemption.

The next verse gives the details of all things that give rise in the human heart to speak out of one’s own agenda. We are not to confuse following God’s heart in feeling injustice and hate of evil, as executing actions to bring justice about.

Matthew 12:30-37 ~ Yeshua (Jesus) speaking…[note: what’s coming out of His mouth…]

Those who are not with me are against Me, and those who do not gather with Me, are scattering. Because of this, I tell you people will be forgiven any sin and blasphemy, but blaspheming the Ruach HaKodesh (Holy Spirit) will not be forgiven. One can say something against the Son of Man and be forgiven; but whoever keeps on speaking against the Ruach HaKodesh will never be forgiven, neither in the ‘olam hazeh nor in the ‘olam haba. (This world, this age nor in the world to come, the age to come).

If you make a tree good, it’s fruit (yield) will be good; and if you make a tree bad, it’s fruit will be bad; for a tree is known by it fruit. You snakes! How can you who are evil say anything good? For the mouth speaks what overflows from the heart. The good person brings forth good things from his store (yield) of good, and the evil person brings forth evil things from his store of evil. Moreover, I tell you this: on the Day of Judgement people will have to give account for every careless word they have spoken; for by your own words you will be acquitted, and by your own words you will be condemned.

It has been said that the justice system derived the “rights” read to an arrestee from this last verse. ‘Anything you say can and will be held against you in a court of law’. A gross misuse of the words Yeshua spoke if so. Though I’ll grant that in human reasoning the “right” can be made to sound very inspired.

Psalms 19:14

May the words of my mouth and the thoughts of my heart be acceptable in Your presence, Adonai, my Rock and Redeemer.

Psalms 39:1

I said, “I will watch how I behave so that I won’t sin with my tongue; I will put a muzzle on my mouth whenever the wicked assault me.”

Ecclesiastes 5:1-8

Don’t speak impulsively- don’t be in a hurry to give voice to your words before God. For God is in heaven, and you are on earth; so let your words be few. For nightmares come from worrying too much; and a fool, when he speaks, chatters too much.

If you make a view to God, don’t delay in discharging it. For God takes no pleasure in fools, so discharge it. Don’t let your words make you guilty, and don’t tell the temple officials that you made a vow by mistake. Why give God reason to be angry at what you say and destroy what you have accomplished? For this is what happens when there are too many dreams, aimless activities and words. Instead, just fear God! If you see the poor oppressed, rights violated and justice perverted in the province, don’t be surprised; for a high official has one higher watching him, and there are others above them. (In other words, God has set up the accountability chain, don’t decide to add your name to His list, let Him do that)

From all my study I could find no God-breathed word to join a protest rally. To have a right to free speech as this world defines it. These are the only things I could find that He endorses as “go ahead say all you like” but He definitely doesn’t say you’ll have the freedom to do it, as in the world will have to ‘let you’. The Truth is: they can’t stop us from these things from one to another.

*Prayer. Pray without ceasing! Countless scriptures say this.

*Encouragement in the thing’s of the Kingdom of God.

Philippians 4:4-9

Rejoice in union with the Lord always! I will say it again: rejoice! Let everyone see how reasonable and gentle you are. The Lord is near! Don’t worry about anything; on the contrary, make your requests known to God by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving. Then God’s shalom (peace), passing all understanding, will keep your hearts and minds safe in union with the Messiah Yeshua. In conclusion, brothers, focus your thoughts on what is true, noble, righteous, pure, lovable or admirable, on some virtue or on something praiseworthy. Keep doing what you have learned and received from me, what you have heard and seen me doing, then the God who gives shalom will be with you.

Why do we need to fight for things this world calls freedom? What is this fight for ‘rights’ from this world’s perspective? If we are persecuted to cease speaking of the Truth of God – are we still not free?

Amos 5:12-15

For I know how numerous are your crimes and how outrageous your sins – bullying the innocent, extorting ransoms pushing the poor aside at the gate. At times like these a prudent person stays silent, for it is an evil time. Seek good and not evil, so that you will survive. Then Adonai Elohei-Tzva’ot (Lord God of Hosts) will take pity on the survivors of Yosef (Joseph).

So… you say – “How then should we tell when to say that God’s Word is being distorted?”

2 Timothy 2:14-19

Keep reminding people of this, and charge them solemnly before the Lord not to engage in word-battles. They accomplish nothing useful and are a catastrophe to the hearers! Do all you can to present yourself to God as someone worthy of His approval, as a worker with no need to be ashamed, because he deals straighforwardly with the Word of Truth. But keep away from godless babbling, for those who engage in it will only become more ungodly, and their teaching will eat away at people like gangrene. Hymenaeus and Philetus are among these; they have missed the mark, as far as the Truth is concerned, by saying that our resurrection has already taken place; and they are overturning some people’s faith. Nevertheless, God’s firm foundation stands, stamped with these Words: “the Lord knows His own,” and “Let everyone who claims he belongs to the Lord stand apart from wrongdoing.

2 Timothy 2:23

But stay away from stupid and ignorant controversies – you know they lead to fights, and a slave to the Lord shouldn’t fight. On the contrary, he should be kind to everyone, a good teacher, and not resentful when mistreated.

2 Timothy 4:1-2

I solemnly charge you before God and the Messiah Yeshua, who will judge the living and the dead when He appears and establishes His Kingdom: proclaim the Word! Be on hand with it whether the time seems right or not. Convict, censure, and exhort with unfailing patience and with teaching.

Titus 3:1; 9-11

Remind people to submit to the government and its officials, to obey them, to be ready to do any honorable kind of work, to slander no one, to avoid quarreling, to be friendly, and behave gently towards everyone.

But avoid stupid controversies, genealogies, quarrels and fights about the Torah; because they are worthless and futile. Warn a divisive person once, then a second time; after that have nothing more to do with them. You may be sure that such a person has been perverted and is sinning: he stands self-condemned.

I will let The Word and the Spirit of the Living God guide you into the answer with His Word.

Yeshua has already fought and won the battle for freedom, dear fellow-sheep! There is not one He calls us to fight for. I leave you with words from King David, the man after God’s own heart. May we encourage as many as we can with these words, in these days, for the time is near… where every word we say will either acquit us or condemn us on the basis of where our hearts are.

Psalms 119:41-48

May Your grace come to me, Adonai, Your Salvation, as You promised; then I will have an answer for those who taunt me; for I trust in Your Word. Don’t take away completely my power to speak the truth; for I put my hope in Your rulings; and I will keep Your Torah always, forever and ever. I will go wherever I like, for I have sought Your precepts. I will speak of Your instructions even to kings without being ashamed. I will delight myself in Your mitzvot (instructions), which I have loved. I will lift my hands to Your mitzvot, which I love; and I will meditate on Your laws.

🙏 The grace of the Lord Yeshua the Messiah, the love of God and the fellowship of the Ruach HaKodesh be with you all.🙏

Pivotal Questions #3

July 26, 2018 at 6:37 am (Remodeling the Mind, Thoughts to Ponder, WSGD Newes) (, , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , )

PQ #3: Does the ultimate Anti-christ mentioned in the Bible know he or she is?

This thought occurs to me every single time someone tries to tell believers: “heres the anti christ!”

I truly believe that to start out with this person… if it be a person will not ever be aware they are. They will be the ultimate fool!! If they could fool the chosen then they must essentially be able to “fit the mold” of Yeshua (Jesus). To fool the Jews, the Messiah must fulfill the prophesies. To fool those that believe in Yeshua, every word of the Bible spoken of Him will have to look ‘just so’. To be the ultimate Anti-christ, they will have to ‘fit the bill’, so to speak, to those who follow Yeshua… now.

The enemy’s biggest task is to fool those who know Yeshua… for those who don’t… very little effort will be required to fool them as they are already fooled.

One might say; “But we’ll know because the real Yeshua will not come on earth performing miracles, He’ll be riding in the clouds.” I’ve said that. Which sets me and anyone thinking that up for being fooled in a different way. Those who need to be fooled the most will be looking for a righteous, glowing human man on something suspended in the air that looks cloud like. Considering technology today, this is scary to think of as very achievable in an illusionary sense. So even this thought now must be questioned. So how will we know!!??

I can only tell you that the key is knowing as much of the hebraic roots to Yeshua as possible is key. I’ve said it over and over, once again: Yahweh did not bring His Son to earth as a jew on accident or to shame that heritage or any such nonsense as that. The fact that the jewish heritage became from Yahweh simply naming Abraham a jew is a spoken thing. The blood lines at the time had, as far as we can know, nothing to do with it. Since then, God has directed the lineage… not man. This lineage has come from many bloodlines. So in a sense, DNA, as we know it, will have little to do with it. So beware, if that avenue gets brought up. Yeshua won’t be coming with DNA results to prove Himself – He doesn’t have to. Even if He did, we’d be unable to recognize it. Does God have DNA? If so, who has viewed it? At the very least His would be inclusive of every strand in the known universe. Of which, we most certainly have never seen. I say this only because the world today seems to be big on science of this kind for ‘proof’ of things. No accident there.

God has a calendar… do you know how to read it? Do you live by it? He gave it starting in the book of Genesis, Yeshua observed it while He walked here on earth prior to His ascension. If you don’t know what day God would place you on today… how will you know the season to be looking for Him. Yeshua specifically said we’d know the season. Just not the day or hour.

Heres the hebraic definition of the word day.

Day – yom – יום – the time of light between one night and the next one. Usually in the context of daylight hours but may also refer to the entire day or even a season.

I can’t stress the significance of solidifying the fact that the world we live in must be viewed spiritually first, physically second. The former should dictate the latter, not the other way around. Spirituality speaking… what is light? What is night? What is an hour? What is a season? All of scripture will teach you but not quite like the ‘old’ testament. Seeing as this is what Yeshua (The Light) fulfilled, if we don’t understand the Torah like it is Yeshua in the flesh, we will not know Him. These are the scriptures the disciples spoke of, and encouraged people to read and know. The ‘new’ testament is written in reference to the ‘old’. The old isn’t there to ‘fill in the gaps’ of the ‘new’. It’s pointing to Yeshua and Yeshua points back to the beginning. God chose a people, He called them Jews, they didn’t choose Him first. The Jews were spoken and chosen, not by petri-dish science… but by covenant… again spoken and chosen. God explains science, science will never explain Him. It will point to Him, but not explain Him. It will glorify Him, not get the glory.

The enemy will try to dissect everything God has made to point back to him. He’ll use it, but he can’t invent it or redo or remake it. He may be able to come….really really close though. Close enough to fool those truly looking for Yeshua.

Here’s a hint, look for Him in your heart, in your actions, in your thoughts being transformed by His Word. Look for Him being received and followed by those who are lost… joining the Kingdom calling to bring as many into the fold as possible. Don’t look for Him in some earthly manifestation. He’s sitting at the right hand of the Father… doing what He said He’d be doing… preparing a place for you and I. He’s living inside the Temple…our heart… not a building made by human hands. Never again! These are the Words Yeshua spoke… trust them!!

John 8:58

Yeshua said to them, “Yes, indeed! Before. Abraham came into being, I Am!”

John 12:34-36; 46

The crowd answered, “We have learned from Torah that the Messiah remains forever. How is it that You say the Son of Man has to be ‘lifted up’? Who is this Son of Man?” Yeshua said to them, ” The Light will be with you only a little while longer. Walk while you have the Light, or the dark will overtake you; he who walks in the dark doesn’t know where he’s going. While you have the Light, put your trust in the Light, so that you may become people of Light”.

I have come as a Light into the world, so that everyone who trusts in Me might not remain in the dark.

All of John chapter 14, 16

✡ The grace of the Lord Yeshua the Messiah, the love of God and the fellowship of the Ruach HaKodesh (Holy Spirit) be with you all. ✡

Pivotal Questions: #2

July 25, 2018 at 1:41 am (Remodeling the Mind, Thoughts to Ponder, WSGD Newes) (, , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , )

Matthew 24:21-25

For there will be trouble then worse than there has ever been from the beginning of the world until now, and there will be nothing like it again! Indeed, if the length of this time had not been limited, no one would survive; but for the sake of those who have been chosen, it’s length will be limited. At that time, if someone says to you, ‘Look! Here’s the Messiah!’ or, ‘There He is!’ don’t believe him. For there will appear false messiahs and false prophets performing great miracles – amazing things! – so as to fool even the chosen, if possible. There! I have told you in advance!

PQ #2: Can you be fooled?

The language Yeshua (Jesus) is using in this passage is strong and completely solid. Notice the past tense of its phrasing, even wording ( ‘had’ instead of ‘is not’). ‘Will be’… not even something so illusive as ‘could be’ or ‘pray that there won’t be’. Which in verse 20 He does phrase a ‘pray that…’ which suggest that our prayers could change some sense of timing here. He’s direct, affirmative and speaks as One who has and is seeing exactly what He’s talking about (past, present, and future). He talks about the trickery in terms of ‘amazing’! God’s Son says it will be amazing. That’s not a little swayed… that’s pretty astounding!

Now let’s talk about the enemy of God. He repeats and only can attempt to do what God has already done. He can’t invent something new. Adonai and Yeshua are big on unity. They talk about it from the beginning to the end. A oneness, of sorts is always in view of God’s ways. So the enemy is repeating…again. Global, One World, United, Internet, World Wide Web… company or corporation names: UNIsef, UNITED Nations, and the favorite… anything with the word UNION.

There’s a reality we must accept. WE are all included in Yeshua’s statement – ‘fool even the chosen‘. If you are chosen you CAN be fooled. Think about that. Chosen is also definitive. He’s not talking about those ‘on the fence’ or deceived already. He’s talking about His kids that walk and talk with Him daily, study their Word, seek His will, desire to please Him and live a life of His character. Those who have the Spirit that has rebirthed them. Those who are SAVED.

Below is a link to a YouTube that will have a link to a new release movie now available. If you want to see how it could be possible as Yeshua put it… watch these. People don’t get deceived because they are stupid, ignorant or naive. We all have moments of these, saved or not. Yeshua said the Truth would set you free. He wasn’t just talking about what’s contained between the binding of the Bible. The Bible doesn’t talk about culture as we know it today. It uses imagery because it is timeless. So those who seek the Truth will know it… just like He promised.

For those who raise the argument: “But if you’re saved you can’t be deceived!” I offer this scripture and beg you to find a way to interpret it in such a way that would do anything but deny what the passage is saying.

2 Peter 2:19-22

They promise them freedom, but they themselves are slaves of corruption; for a person is slave to whatever has defeated him. Indeed, if they have once escaped the pollutions of the world through knowing our Lord and Deliverer, Yeshua the Messiah, and then have again become entangled and defeated by them, their latter condition has become worse than their former. It would have been better for them not to have known the Way of righteousness than, fully knowing, to turn from the Holy Command delivered to them. What has happened accords with the true proverb, “A dog returns to its own vomit.”

Our “vomit” if you will is, our thinking we know better, and live in a state of anything other than reliance on God. For further clarification. Messiah means annointed/consecrated – false means vain (because to be vain one must be self absorbed. Satan’s origin of falling), lie, deceptive. So a false messiah is a deceptive/vain/lying one who has been annointed/consecrated to be vain/deceptive. Yeshua means salvation His anointing is to save, lead to the Father, consecrated to the Truth. A prophet is one who speaks or sings by inspiration from a spirit. A false prophet therefore is one who speaks or sings under the influence of a deceptive/vain spirit. It is the ultimate goal of Satan to deceive… trick… cause one to be fooled. Don’t be fooled into thinking he’ll use Yeshua’s name to point to false messiahs. He’ll point to anything that seems like it could “save” us. (Time, money, energy, health, sanity, love [false of course]). Satan ‘annoints’ his own. He’s just trying to be God by doing so. Nothing new, his mantra is: “anything You (Adonai) can do, I can do better.” He’s always saying this to Adonai…

Satan’s the author of “seems like” for anything good. If it seems like a good thing… question it. Don’t use your brain to come to a conclusion. Go to Adonai/Yeshua and ask Him… is this YOUR good. Its never, ever, how things ‘seem’ to us that matters, but what it actually is to Adonai. What He thinks is our bottom line. Since Adonai can only do good… He is the only One who knows when something is not. He sent His Spirit to lead us into all Truth… but He will never ever violate our choice to follow what we find – a lie or the Truth. He can make us see, but He won’t make us act on what He’s revealing. He asks us to because He loves us, but forcing is not love. He convicts, never condemns. Convincing only ever comes from acting on the Truth He reveals. If we want convincing before trusting action, we’ll be sorry. This is what Yeshua condemned in those who need ‘signs and wonders’. The enemy of God therefore will wonder and awe first, then demand allegiance. But he’ll rarely have to demand as our own desires take over. What entices you that seems innocent? What blows your mind in the world today that seems good? There are certain things we all can name, and some of which would appear on all our list. I’m typing on one right now. We must guard our hearts with ALL diligence! Now more than ever… may God be with you.

Link: https://youtu.be/1ekkwAyNf1w

✡ Now, to the One who can keep you from falling and set you without defect and full of joy in the presence of His Sh’khinah (Divine Presence) – to God alone, our Deliverer, through Yeshua the Messiah, our Lord – be glory, majesty, power and authority before all time, now and forever. Amen. ✡

Pivotal Questions: # 1

July 21, 2018 at 6:30 am (Remodeling the Mind, Thoughts to Ponder, WSGD Newes) (, , , , )

Knowing that the age we live in is often referred to as the age of deceit, I felt this series is important. I pray the Spirit of The Living God, The Truth, The Way, The Life – Yeshua (Jesus) the Messiah will guide you as you think about this very contorted and confusing topic – be made clear. For His Name sake and His glory…

The question isn’t: Does God give us the right to bear arms?

God gives us the option of choices. Always. He will never and never has taken this away from us. He is the only One who can.

Based on the things Yeshua said and did… the question is…

It’s the right to bear arms a Kingdom of God fight? Do you think your ‘right to bear arms’ will be a subject of judgement on the Last Day? Who do you really rely on to protect you (your loved ones and possessions)?

Here are some scriptures for further inspection and reflection on this subject.

John 5:37

John 8:12-18; 31

John 10:25-30

John 12:23-26

John 18:36-37

Matthew chapters 5 & 6

Ephesians 6:10-18

There are some questions in which the answer you accept as truth dictate your actions, which point to what you really believe. Or rather WHO. Life and death hang on Who we follow and emulate, not what right we have. Choice isn’t a right, it’s a gift… we honor the Giver of that gift by choosing His Way. Or we choose ours. There’s no inbetween. There are “black and white” vivid answers to questions. In fact 90% of the time the shades of grey are to be considered, it’s His consideration to do the shading… not ours. He has been clear for those who love Him, more than their lives, their homes, their rights. The enemy blurs the lines with shades of grey. God in His grace is clear. We are not to confuse choices with rights.

✡ May Yeshua the Messiah strengthen us and enable us to see through the deceit and choose – in the power of the Spirit – for the glory of His Name, to follow Him! Now and forever more…✡
