Awake! – Part 21-a – Awake Test

July 19, 2017 at 3:47 am (WSGD Newes) (, )

Testing, testing…

Here’s a video, watch and listen. Not just to the words coming out of the speaker on the video, but hear the voice of the Promised Spirit that gives discernment and wisdom! Part 21 ~B, will cover the unpealing of the onion. In this video is truth and falsehood; definitive signs of God using imperfect people, in imperfect times to do His perfect will. Note what you get side tracked with, what irritates you, what made you curious and what sinks in deep and quick as true. Hold each note up to Yeshua – the Way, The Truth, and the Life. He said, “My sheep know My Voice…” He will speak directly into your thoughts of this video. He will tell you what you need to note, what to disregard and what to share.

So let’s take an awake test. Let us see what we learn and still have yet to. After all, each moment we are alive, no matter where we are or what we’re doing the line of communication between ourselves and Adonai is meant to be a central line, the thing we cling to for every thought and it’s shaping of our souls. The is the state of fully aware, ready, prepared and watching.

✡ May the grace and peace of Yeshua the Messiah be with you. ✡

Awake! – Part 20 – The Real Question…

July 9, 2017 at 3:58 am (WSGD Newes) (, , , , , , )

Mark 14:38 – Yeshua (Jesus) speaking…

Stay awake, and pray that you will not be put to the test – the spirit indeed is eager, but human nature is weak.

Knowing on the horizon the various forms the enemy could be setting us up to be deceived – there’s a critical question…

“What would it take to fool me?”

The question is not whether or not we can be fooled. The answer is a resounding yes. Remember Peter’s devotion, insight and dedication to Yeshua? Yet even he denied his Lord. The example was set for us to take heed; no one is beyond being duped or trying to find a way to believe but appear as though we don’t. Thats what Peter was doing. He wanted to know what was happening to his Lord, his heart doubted, but he didn’t want to. It was just that he was having a hard time understanding that God could be arrested, that man could kill Him! It wasn’t in Peter’s understanding yet, the whole picture was still being revealed. We are all always in this exact same place. Vulnerable to something based on what we think we know, but God intends to teach us more.

So given the times we’re in; what would it take to shake your faith? What would it take to bend you towards doubt? What would it look like to wonder if you’d been wrong all this time? Upon thinking of the answer, don’t fear! Ask God to enter into the questioning and solidify your trust, and be stronger in you than any fear, any doubt and prepare your heart for droopy eyes.

Mark 13:22 – Yeshua speaking…

There will appear false Messiah’s and false prophets performing signs and wonders for the purpose, if possible, of misleading the chosen.

Mark 13:35-37

So stay alert! For you don’t know when the owner of the house will come, whether it will be evening, midnight, cockcrow or morning – you don’t want Him to come suddenly and find you sleeping! And what I say to you, I say to everyone: stay alert!”

To stay alert, I picture someone in the woods on a watch for predators. One must know what to watch for as an enemy to stay alert. So what form do you need to watch for? If we can’t think of anything (like Peter telling Yeshua nothing would make him betray Him), ask God to show you where you may be wrong – now, before it’s too late.

My devotion to Adonai, seems to me, as unshakable as the heavens! Yet there is a reason God will shake even those in the last days, nothing will be unaffected, unshakeable – soon. Remember in every warning Yeshua gave it has bells attached. Things will be shakey, doubts will emerge from hidden places, eyes will blink to try to understand what they see, ears will ring at the sound of deception. There will be only One we can count on, not family or friends – only Yeshua. Let us let Him show us our hypocrisy, our doubts, our proud thinking, our misconceptions, our assumptions – now with eyes wide open. Remember He took the three solid sheep of His flock to the Garden of Gethsemane. Peter, James and John. Three times they were found sleeping when He asked them to remain, stay awake and pray (Mark 14:33). Three times He found them so sleepy they could not even account for why. (Mark 14:40) It’s not a coincidence that the number three pops up here in sleepiness just like the number of times Peter denies the Lord.

I leave off with this video link to pull together the emphasis.

✡ May the grace and peace of Yeshua the Messiah be found in full measure in our hearts, minds, and souls. May the assurance of His Salvation sing over us. May He steady our feet with His unshakable Love and lead us in the Way everlasting ✡

Awake! – Part 18 – To Preserve and Protect

June 21, 2017 at 1:34 am (WSGD Newes) (, , , , , )

It is perhaps the greatest tragedy to God’s heart; that human beings greatest mis-judgement is about The JUDGE, Himself.

Picture the field of flowers in the movie Wizard of Oz. You know the one where they go in to take a short-cut and the poppies put them to sleep? It’s illustrative for two reasons:

  1. To be put to sleep, stops progress. No one goes anywhere.
  2. The state of sleep can alter reality and trick us into thinking we’re in action when we’re really just laying there snoring.

The enemy of God is giddy when people are asleep! Illusions are his playground. God deals only in wide awake reality. This is why it’s the fool who says there is no God. And notice where the fool says it; in his heart. God’s reality is always clearest inside each individual heart. He’s the only One who sees this reality perfectly, clearly and always. We can not even look into our own heart long enough or deep enough to see our hearts exactly like they are. Only God – forever. We will never be given such sight to see. Given our track record it’s plain to see why. There is one thing that helps and is sure; if God is telling us about our hearts we can put our lives on what He’s saying. He tells us about the good and bad of them. But only us, about our own; or Him about His. Never ever ever will He sit and tell you or I about another human beings heart. That’s His territory, and He is zealous of it. At best He may give us insight (discernment) to apply to our own heart the nature or state of another’s for that moment only. But conclusive and fixed stares on another’s heart besides our own and God’s will never be given us. It’s all we can handle to tend or own “yard” in this regard. Personal heart-garden tending is the only spade and rake and shovel we’ll ever be allowed to take up for judgement. Even in this we will have to consult the Gardener for the disease that befalls some of the plants we find there. Why? Because only God can judge anything with absolute MERCY! We have been given the ability to have mercy from one circumstance to another, but not all and not everyone or anyone else’s. God sees where we as a thread in a tapestry begin, what has colored them, shaped or frayed them, strengthened them, weakened them, twisted them; but only He has pulled them through the covering of His love to the end. His choices remain the Mightiest and most effective for all time. His judgement is simply to let our choices that go against His become as big as they need be for us to learn. Consequences are the best juries with accurate verdicts every time. We may be imprisoned by them or set free, only He knows at anytime to which road we are headed at every moment of every day.

God has alot to say about judgement, do you ever wonder why? Let just sniff the waking salt of common sense for a minute.

The enemy of God JUDGED himself better than God. This means he JUDGED God as less than himself. Whhaaaooo! The very first sin and worst of all was to become a “judge-or” instead of a “judge-ee”. Pretty revealing once the reality hits us in the totally conscious part of our mind.

God also doesn’t hesitate to tell us exactly how He judges. The Word is full of His stories, examples and even some of His motives! He doesn’t owe us that! I realize we who have lived in the land of the free may feel the scratching of the chalk board at that thought. We have a tendency to think we’re owed alot of things we have no clue how to see much less have explained to us. Why? Because we are not capable of having all the facts about anything, ever. God can tip our scales in favor of them at times, but all of them are His alone. He’s the only One capable of them. Again it’s His character that enables His infinite ability here. He is love, patience, kindness, mercy, grace; and forgiveness is His signature. His signet ring isn’t worn on human hands, it is His heart. Even Yeshua (Jesus) – the Son of Man said He didn’t come to judge! How can mankind have ever confused saving as judging? Yet this is exactly what the enemy of God desire us to do, misjudge God. This enemy will use every illusion he can muster to get us so deceived into thinking God is a harsh judge. Reality, however, is that God is Yeshua! The God who saves!

Much confusion comes with our interpretation of wisdom aka discernment. The confusion only comes when we are tricked into thinking we have any of our own! Discernment and wisdom only come from God. So if we are given any, it’s a gift from Him, not a “gut feeling” we get to own. God gives us discernment to protect and preserve. Never to condemn. Not ourselves or anyone else, not a circumstance and especially not God Himself! If any condemnation comes from His discernment given to us, it’s not discernment – it has turned into the enemy’s evil of origin – judging.

So, when the Day of Judgement comes, it will be more apt to call it the Day of consequence set forth to eternity. Our own choices will then be the eternal state we have shackled ourselves to. Now we see why God has been so patient, longing to give us every chance to change our minds and let Him show us our hearts and His before that Day. Makes me wonder if those who have died years and decades ago are not still in the time of chances. Yet since this kind of thinking has no place in scripture for us to conjecturize I think we must leave that to Him who knows. There are a few examples given us in scripture that clearly tell us this territory is not for us to dabble about. He is clear, “I’ve given you the Word, I’ve given you My Son, I’ve given you My Spirit – if these are not enough to change your path then knowing more won’t change your mind.”

This post is awkward for me, as I usually place scripture throughout. This time I’ll give the references. It’s up to you to be awakened more and more by looking them up and asking the One who wrote them to show you how to see His heart in order for yours to be made whole. So that you may feel no urge to judge, either God or any one of His children ever again! It’s a transformation that defines freedom! The captive it sets free is us! God is then free to expand our territory into the full gift of discernment and wisdom. For God as a true Judge is the shamar – שמר – the Safegard,  not a governor or elected judge in some supreme Court. His court is heaven, He will judge the enemy and those hosts who fell from Heaven with him, with wrath and vengeance, but His judgement for His children is to safeguard, protect, and preserve. The Word of God reveals this plainly.

Awake! – Part 11 – Salt

May 3, 2017 at 10:09 pm (WSGD Newes) (, , , , , , , , , , )

Mark 9:49-50

Indeed, everyone is going to be salted with fire. Salt is excellent, but if it loses its saltiness, how will you use it? So have salt in yourselves – that is, be at peace with each other.

Matthew 5:11-16

How blessed are you when people insult you and persecute you and tell all kinds of vicious lies about you because you follow Me! Rejoice, be glad, because your reward in heaven is great – they persecuted the prophets before you in the same way.  You are the salt of the land. But if the salt becomes tasteless, how can it be made salty again? It is no longer good for anything except being thrown out for people to trample on.  You are light for the world. A town on a hill cannot be hidden. Likewise, when people light a lamp, they don’t cover it with a bowl but put it on a lampstand, so that it shines for everyone in the house. In the same way, let your Light shine before people, so that they may see the good things you do and praise your Father in heaven.

Before I get to the main thread of this blog, I wish to add a side note. I, myself, as well as many others who have shared with me have had to learn the difference between being persecuted and being rightfully called a hypocrite for speaking truth. To be slandered and lied about, and persecuted for speaking truth is done whether a person is righteous our not. The Truth, these days is out of favor.  I’ve spoken truth unkindly, God can still use the truth, but the consequence of being without love in the doing nonetheless was warranted. This was not persecution. Just because we speak truth to people or are what some may term “brutally honest” doesn’t mean we are glorifying the Father. There’s a huge difference. For those who feel justified in ignoring a truth because it came from someone less than lovingly or they didn’t in your opinion have “the right” to say it, don’t feel justified all the more by what I’ve just said. Yeshua IS Truth, and if it comes to you in any way, we are capable of applying the truth and separating it from the messenger. For in truth, none of us are qualified to speak it. We are all learning it at all times, we are all in various stages of absorbing it at all times, we are all disqualified to speak it based on our humanity alone. So what’s the difference? What makes us called to be salt and light, revealing truth, teaching truth, testifying to THE TRUTH? Simple – Yeshua’s righteousness alone, His love, His example. His call to follow Him, do as He did/does.

In my own process of learning, I found that if I have not been broken by a truth I’m so eager to share, I’m not qualified to share it. A quick look at my motive, then asking God to show me what I can’t see all of them, so He then shows me my motives, proves to be effective. If they are anything but to give God glory and show that it’s the goodness of God that brings repentance, if there’s even a little nudge inside that desires to show someone how wrong they are instead of the beauty of how trustworthy God is, my lips remain sealed. Adonai is serious about us being careful, setting a guard over our lips. As we look to Yeshua’s example we see what we are aiming for. He rebuked the religious leaders, he rebuked demons. He overturned tables in the temple, but this was not a teaching moment. He was passionately angry for what was being done in His Father’s house. We notice He never once spoke about it. He did it. End of story. When He taught truth, He didn’t interject His opinion, He spoke it  (the worth dying for truth) straight out, not shouting, not pounding it in a zillion times. When He repeated Himself, His audience was vastly different, in that, He was always speaking it for the first time to the majority of ears. When He “repeated” Himself to His disciples, usually the repeat was addressing a different aspect of a certain truth. To really understand what it means to speak truth to anyone we must all have spent some time at Yeshua’s feet, showing those truths have changed us first. For then, we learn the loving-kindness of Adonai in teaching and guiding us through all truth. Then when we are pressed upon the Lord to share it with others, our hearts are ever aware of our lack of qualification to teach it, our lack of control of its reception, and our lack of any origin of it from ourselves. So naturally we are more mindful of: “How will my words bring glory to You my Lord? Give me Your words, give me Your heart, Your amazing love.”

I pray that will help clarify much as we move on. 😊

Here are some things salt is used for:

It preserves from corruption.

It irritates and hurts wounds.

It softens water and skin

Enhances flavor.

Cleanses and purify’s.

It can also be corrosive.

It enables water to conduct electricity.

Melts ice/keeps water from freezing.

It is like an electrolyte.

It’s a bleaching agent.

It was used in all the offerings, incense, and sacrifices.

It can destroy, overcome, and over take.

Babies used to be rubbed with it just after birth.

Without salt, no life would exist.

As I studied this list I found it amazing. It’s dual nature. Sodom and Gomorrah were destroyed with it (Gen. 19). Yet covenants were preserved with it (Numbers 18:17-19; 2 Chronicles 13). Elisha purified water with it (2 Kings 2:18-22). The Dead Sea was destroyed with it. Yet in Ezekiel 47, we see that God will restore it. In Jeremiah 17:5-8, we see it represents trust! To be salt we must be a living trust in action and word in Yeshua – all He said, did, does, and will do.

Salt irritates wounds. Yet applied correctly it will heal them. The application is always our choice. Even if it’s “dumped” on us, we can still make use of it. If we are awake, we are salt. Every single thing on that list above applies in a spiritual sense as well as a physical. Notice the Matthew 5 verse. I suggest you read the whole chapter. So often that salt part is selected out of its context. Yet it’s sandwiched between blessed are you if you are persecuted and you are a light for a reason. What might that reason be? To be awake one must seek this answer for themselves. Every single word of Matthew 5 is showing us what salt and lights function is and how it is to be used. Every single word Yeshua said was perfectly applied as salt and light. (Not just in Matthew 5). If any of those words become empty or inapplicable to us, our salt will lose its flavor, our light will dim. Notice the first place we are to adopt the Truths is in our own lives. Too many people are good at preaching what they themselves are completely dead to. When our salt loses its flavor something dies in us to the truth and it spreads like a virus to those around us. We are doubly accountable in this case. It’s one thing to be naive, not knowing the truth, it’s another to reject it. To clarify without any fuzzy lines – on Judgement Day – there will be not one naive human being standing before the God who reveals Truth to all in order that they might be saved. All will have had the chance to reject or be reborn (changed, transformed in the Image of God) by Yeshua, The Way, The Truth, The Life.

An interesting note: there such a thing as ‘smelling or waking salts’. You know, we’ve all seen them used in movies. Salts that awaken. In order to be changed into the glory of His likeness, one must first be awakened. These salts irritate. They snap someone out of one state into another. It’s offensive – hence why Yeshua said “blessed is anyone not offended by Me”. (Matthew 11:6) Who can argue that it’s much better to be open to Truth, no matter how hard, than to be offended (defensive) by it?

Now notice how interesting the verses in Mark 9:49-50 are? Salted with fire? What is Yeshua saying here? Then it ends by suggesting that our saltiness will produce peace among people? These are very strange references. When considering the main by-product of saltiness in this day and age will be persecution. So what peace is Yeshua referring to here? It seems to contradict itself. Let me assure you He does not, yet again for this to be understood, one must seek Him for the clarity of the meaning here for themselves. Begin with every scripture from Genesis to Revelation where salt is mentioned. The Beginning and the End is where answers are found and Yeshua is both!

There are four covenants Yahweh’s people can enter into. One is called the Salt covenant. Seek out and study these, you’ll begin to understand salt in a whole new light – pun intended.

I hope I’ve raised curiosity here, caused a thirst or hunger to seek Yeshua and His Word for yourself. I wonder often, if we wouldn’t be more effective, not giving all the answers, but sending out questions that seek to be answered? For some this may be a smelling salt, for others flavor, for others cleansing, for others a bleaching agent, and yes, for some corrosive, irritating, even destructive (to all things evil). We are just told to be salt, God directs the function of it. We can be absolutely sure of His heart to love and save. An interesting note: it takes salt to make light 😉!

✡ May the Bread of Life be salted with your tears of joy and sorrow for those who suffer from lack of salt, may His glory be the treasure we seek every day in ourselves and the world around us! His will be done, on earth as it is in heaven!  Grace and peace be yours in full measure in Yeshua the Messiah.
