Peace Within = Superior Protection

Proverbs 16:7

When a man’s ways please Adonai, He makes even the man’s enemies be at peace with him.

Today our family was in the midst of a heart breaking situation of what felt like to us a grave injustice. Indeed I believe that even Adonai would say that there was injustice in His eyes too. Each of us drove home with hearts laid out and ripe to either praise God for what we don’t see or let our own suffering and senses be subject to the enemies whims and curse, complain, and bemoan like victims. To pray for our enemies and bless or reek with bitterness and accusation.

As I sit and ask Him to empty me of all thoughts and feeling that will not bring Him glory (and I will admit that when He did I felt completely empty. I.E. I was full of those kinds of thoughts and feelings) the above scripture dropped before me and I before it.

Even to this day when this scripture had been taught about and expounded upon it has dug deep into the reservoir of externals. Please God = no enemies, or enemy fire, or enemy-like situations. And indeed there are times when God calls a cease fire from the enemy encampment around us. But tonight He dug into the wells of the internal and there by the eternal. Ever had Him do that and sit back and go “Wow!” As if you are reading words you know you’ve read a thousand times for the first time?

Here is what He taught me tonight.

My Child most the time the peace being referred to in this Word of Mine is given within you. The enemies may be hounding, railing, misjudging, and even seemingly prevailing all around you. But the peace I give puts such a protective shield around you that the attacks and injustice done loses its ability to steal your peace and trust in Me. The outward circumstances change not, but the inward environment of your soul is transformed so completely that nothing can touch you. The enemy may not have peace inside them with you. .. but you see them at peace with you united with Me.
The offering up of all your thoughts, your perspectives, and indeed your right to feel even righteous anger to Me creates this peace. When you stand on and speak into your soul “Adonai gives and Adonai takes. .. blessed be the name of Adonai; may His glory reign” peace of assurance of My total justice pervades every crack and My Light of Truth and Grace makes the way clear before you. Seeing that peace means completeness in Me. .. how much more “at peace” can anything be from within or without?

Then He turned my attention to verse 6 of Proverbs 16.

Grace and Truth atone for iniquity, and people turn from evil through fear of Adonai.

I fear more not glorifying God than what this situation could turn out like. .. even if the worst should happen, I chose to believe His Grace and Truth are the prevailing forces at work no matter what I see. Peace, completeness, absolute Protection. .. it’s True! Glory to God whose ways truly are much higher and unlike mine, whose thoughts are the paths of peace!

Purpose and Provision ~ Part 5 ~ B

May 20, 2013 at 2:20 am (Remodeling the Mind) (, , , , , , , , , , , , )

Part 5; continued from A. Click link below to read Part 5 ~ A
https://hisimagenme.wordpress.com/2013/05/09/purpose-and-provision-part-5-a/

As to forgiveness; it must be stated as bluntly and clearly as Adonai (the Lord) has said Himself:  NOONE can forgive another’s wrongs done towards them without having received Yeshua (Jesus)’s forgiveness and thereby the Spirit sent to enable one to forgive.

All the world speaks well of being forgiving. (Well…there may be exceptions but the gist of it would be in “favor”). That is…the human concept of forgiveness laid out in Part A. Yet, if forgiveness, is its very invention, source, and originator is God; that is the God of Abraham, Jacob, Isaac, David, and Yeshua Himself, then no human can “revamp” the Way He designed it to function. There is no human capacity to forgive apart from Him. It is for His own Name’s sake that He forgives and thereby for His Namesake anyone else does. The Word of God can not be more clear about this. We don’t forgive wrongs to “get” anything for ourselves. We are given the very power of God to forgive with Him. The Kingdom of Heaven…here on Earth. Its true, that forgiveness born from above gives to its people freedom. Yes, we often seek forgiveness for this very reason…we want to be free of our own ugliness. But there is no condescending to admit our ugliness to get or give forgiveness to another human being. Yes, our lack of forgiveness is a bondage to a our status as sinful creatures. So to forgive we are set free, but for the function/purpose of being made one with Yeshua (Jesus). That’s it. So if a motive to ask God for forgiveness is anything other than the stated above, the power granted to us by Yeshua/God/the Spirit is not given.

Many many people think that forgiveness is a New Testament concept only. No!! A thousand times no! Forgiveness from human to human; such as God forgives; comes through Yeshua. But – God has been forgiving humans since the “dawn of Time”. He made it, He directs it, charges it and completes it. Always has…always will.

The Kingdom of Heaven was to be announced at the Word of Yeshua. Notice the first part of His directives in Matthew 3:2; 4:17; 10:7.

“Turn from your sin to God, for the Kingdom of Heaven is near“.

There is no accident or small connection between the two. The forgiveness of sin is the Will of the Father in Heaven to be done on Earth as it is in Heaven. This can not be understated. In fact it is not only from Old Testament but to the New.

Isaiah 38:16-17

Adonai (Lord), by these things people live; in all these is the Life of my spirit. You’re restoring my health and giving me life – though instead of peace, I felt very bitter.
You desired my life and preserved it from the nothingness pit; for You threw all my sins behind Your back.

Isaiah 44:22

Like a thick cloud, I wipe away your offenses; like a cloud, your sins. Come back to Me, for I have redeemed you.

Isaiah 48:11

For My Sake I Will do it, for My own sake. I will not let My reputation be tarnished; I will not yield My Glory to anyone else.

Isaiah 55:7

Let the wicked person abandon his way and the evil person his thoughts; let him return to Adonai, and He will have mercy on him; let him return to our God, for He will freely forgive.

Micah 7:18-19

Who is God like You, pardoning the sin and overlooking the crimes of the remnant of His heritage? He does not retain His anger forever, because He delights in Grace. He will again have compassion on us, He will subdue our iniquities.
You will throw all their sins into the depths of the sea.

Psalms 103:8-12

Adonai is merciful and compassionate, slow to anger and rich in Grace. He will not always accuse, He will not keep His anger forever. He has not treated us as our sins deserve or paid us back for our offenses, because His mercy towards those who fear Him is as far above earth as heaven. He has removed our sins from us as far as the east is from the west.

Daniel 9:9

It is for Adonai our God to show compassion and forgiveness, because we rebelled against Him.

2 Chronicles 6:21

Yes, listen to the pleas of Your servant, and also those of Your people Israel when they pray towards this place. Hear from where You live, from Heaven; and when You hear, forgive!

Mark 11:25 ~ Yeshua speaking…

And when you stand praying, if you have anything against anyone, forgive him; so that your Father in Heaven may also forgive your offenses.

Acts 3:19 (see also Matt. 3:2; 4:17; 10:7)

Therefore, repent and turn to God, so that your sins may be erased; so that times of refreshing may come from the Lord’s presence; and He may send the Messiah appointed in advanced for you, that is, Yeshua.

Ephesians 1:7-10

In union with Him, through the shedding of His blood, we are set free – our sins are forgiven; this accords with the wealth of Grace He has lavished on us. In all His Wisdom and Insight He has made known to us His secret plan, which by His own will He designed beforehand in connection with the Messiah and will put into effect when the time is ripe – His plan to place everything in Heaven and on Earth under the Messiah’s headship.

Colossians 1:13-17

He has rescued us from the domain of darkness and transferred us into the Kingdom of His Son. It is through His Son that we have redemption – that is, our sins have been forgiven. He is the visible image of the invisible God. He is supreme over all creation, because in connection with Him were all things created – in Heaven and on earth, visible and invisible, whether thrones, lordship, rulers, or authorities – they have all been created through and for Him. He existed before all things, and He holds everything together.

I pray you see the mighty power of forgiveness as it is encouraged for us to pray in the Lord’s prayer. Also that in connection to this forgiveness we take part, through Yeshua, in bringing the Will of the Father to earth as it is in Heaven. That those scriptures in Matt.16:18-18; 18:18; John 20:21-23 – see part A
become clearer to you in the beauty of what Yeshua meant when He spoke of “what you permit/forbid on earth…will be as one in Heaven”. Held or forgiven…what a mysteriously amazing thing! That now, the idea of forgiving our enemies holds a brighter Light in revelation. We will never know until we see Him face to face just how powerful forgiveness really is. Only in the pure and direct pursuit of knowing Him can we forgive or be forgiven. Continually being made righteous by His work on that Hill in Jerusalem so long ago. Timeless was His obedience, endless is its power, bottomless is its Resources!! May He continue every day to unveil more of His Kingdom! As we receive His forgiveness and model after it forgiveness to our Brothers, Sisters, Neighbors. His Will be done, on earth as it is in Heaven!!

Purpose and Provision ~ Part 4

Matthew 6:9-13 ~ Yeshua (Jesus) speaking…

You, therefore, pray like this:

‘Our Father in heaven!
May Your Name be kept holy.
May Your Kingdom come, Your will be done on earth as it is in heaven.

Give us the food we need today.
Forgive us what we have done wrong, as we too have forgiven those who have wronged us.
And do not lead us into hard testing, but keep us safe from the evil one.
For Kingship, power and glory are Yours forever.

Amen’

Examples:
In Yeshua’s own life here on earth…

Matthew 4:1-4

Then the Spirit led Yeshua up into the wilderness to be tested by the Adversary. After Yeshua had fasted forty days and nights, He was hungry. The tempter came and said to Him, “If You are the Son of God, order these stones to become bread.” But He answered, “The Tanakh (scriptures/Word of God) says, ‘Man does not live on bread alone, but on every word that comes from the mouth of Adonai.’

From His disciple, Peter’s own life.

John 21:16-17

A second time He said to him, “Shim’on Bar Yochanan (Simon son of John – Peter), do you love Me?” He replied, “Yes, Lord You know I’m Your friend.” He said to him, “Shepherd My sheep.” The third time He said to him, “Shim’on Bar-Yochanan, are you My friend?” Shim’on was hurt that He questioned him a third time: “Are you My friend?” So he replied, “Lord, You know everything! You know I’m Your friend!” Yeshua said to him, “Feed My sheep!”

In order to fully understand Brother Peter’s interaction here we must note three things:

1) Most know Peter had denied Yeshua three times only days ago when this conversation took place. The significance of Yeshua having him say three times, essentially, “I will not deny You again.” was profound!

2) The real power comes from knowing the prophetically fulfilling moment this exchange signifies! Again, everything Yeshua did and said is full of purpose and provision!

Ezekiel 34, this entire chapter is needful to read, and is lengthy so I will not type it all here. This is where the confirmation of another of the Father’s promises is fulfilled and kept. Note the language…sheep, food, feed. Its all imagery…but easy enough to see why He used the word-pictures He did. And hence why Yeshua used the same with Peter. My guess is that Peter’s hair stood on end when the full implications of that exchange fell like dust settling after a storm! Mine does 🙂

3) Peter didn’t start a “soup kitchen”…but a Continued Kingdom here on earth as it is in heaven!

So is the food in verse 11, physical or spiritual? Well, to be sure it can apply to both. We can count on Adonai to provide for the physical body, as the rest of Matthew chapter 6 goes on in vivid detail. Yet taken as a whole, this prayer is about the Life that lives on into eternity, the life that matters and therefore, the Life that needs substance at the hand of God. Yeshua (and many many others) have gone without physical food on a daily basis. Its not necessary to feed the stomach everyday…not to live. But, there is a food we can not live without from one day to the next.

Matthew 6:25 ~ Yeshua speaking…

“Therefore, I tell you, don’t worry about your life – what you will eat or drink; or about your body – what you will wear. Isn’t life about more than food and the body more than clothing?

John 4:31-34

Meanwhile, the talmidim (disciples/followers) were urging Yeshua, “Rabbi, eat something.” But He answered, “I have food to eat that you don’t know about.” At this, the talmidim asked one another, “Could someone have brought Him food?” Yeshua said to them, “My food is to do what the One who sent Me wants and to bring His work to completion.”

John 6:27; 32; 35 ~ Yeshua speaking…

Don’t work for the food which passes away but for the food that stays on into eternal life, which the Son of Man will give you. For this is the One on whom God the Father has put His seal.

Yeshua said to them, “Yes, indeed! I tell you it wasn’t Moshe (Moses) who gave you the bread from heaven. But My Father is giving you the genuine bread from heaven; for God’s bread is the One who comes down out of heaven and gives life to the world.”

Yeshua answered, “I am the bread which is life! Whoever comes to Me will never go hungry, and whoever trusts in Me will never be thirsty.”
*** all of John chapter 6 is about the food in the Lords prayer.

Look at all the language used in these passages!! It is the Lord’s Prayer on steroids! Detailed! the Father; Kingdom/heaven; bread/food!! Every word that proceeds from His mouth is the food we need today!

If you ask for anything and it is within the Father’s will…it shall be given to you“…

And sure enough…Yeshua’s Words are a ready meal for the eating…requiring not a cent to be spent! Like the loaves and fish…multiplying over and over to the point where none can consume them all! Feeding His sheep! Shepherd of Israel, Word of God, Bread of Life…food we need today.

Purpose and Provision ~ Part 3

Matthew 6:9-13

You, therefore, pray like this:
Our Father in heaven!

For Kingship, power, and glory are Yours forever.

Amen.’

Focus for part 3:

> the word and meaning of Name

> the word and meaning of the word Father

~ Name ~

When studying the scriptures it has become a absolute must that I ask the Spirit to lead me to Yeshua (Jesus) – the Teacher for direction and leading to the Father (El Elyon). For it is Adonai Elohim (the Lord God) who has decreed that He be made known. He is known by His Name. Not like I, Lisa, am known by mine. There are soo many Lisa’s, it is my last name that distinguishes my name from all the others and not completely at that. For there are surely more than one of us in combination. The meaning of my name is consecrated or devoted to God. For which, I pray, I honor; yet not everyone named Lisa desires such.

Names are not given as they used to be; **where a name was a representation of whom the individual is/was, based on their character and function. The nature and character of God is found within His Names, which are lost or obscured in our translations and Greek/Western view of scripture. Just as a name can give us a clue about the individual’s character, we can also find some interesting clues about the character of the family lineage. Below is a list of the sons of Adam, the lineage of the promised Messiah, as found in Genesis chapter 5 with the Hebraic meaning for each name:

Adam  – man
Seth – appoint (set in place)
Enosh – mortal (also means man, as man is mortal)
Kenyan – dwelling place (literally a nest)
Mahalalel – light of God (also means praise as it illuminates another)
Jared – comes down
Enoch – dedicate
Methuselah – his death brings
Lamech – despair
Noah – comfort

When the meanings of these names are combined, we discover a very interesting prophesy of the coming Messiah based on the functional descriptions of the names of Adam’s descendants. (Get ready to make that ‘whoooaa’ sound 🙂 )

Man appointed a mortal dwelling, the light of God will come down dedicated, His death brings the despairing comfort.

I.E. Yeshua, Salvation, God with us, Lamb of God, (Jesus) **taken from His Name Is One; An Ancient Hebrew Perspective of the Names of…God. by Jeff A. Brenner**

Kinda makes you look at all those names listed in Matthew and wonder, huh? I recommend you look into it…its just as jaw dropping! Everything God does is FULL of meaning/function/purpose! Not a jot or tittle is “simply placed to “fill in a blank space””.
His Name is above all names! Full of character and function with the purpose of being known!

I highly recommend you getting the book referenced above and below…you will simply just be awed from front to back in the detail of the God we serve! 🙂

~ Father ~

The Hebrew meaning of the word Father is: Strength of the house.

This stands in much conflict in our day due to the fact that somehow the mother has gotten this reputation. The woman of a house is most often the most revered. Not without reason, us women have worked hard to project this persona into the family dynamic. Women do have a “strength” but not like a father. (This is another subject, for another time)
**The following comes from the Jeff Brenner book listed above but abbreviated. The section on God – the Father is pages long and I need not repeat it all.** Looking at the language from a Messianic perspective I have changed the small s in sons to caps in order to get straight to the point. All things such as families, marriage, community and so on are a representation of the Father’s will on earth as it is in heaven.

**The Father builds His family through His Son(s). It is the responsibility of the Father to teach and instruct His Son(s) in family matters so that when the time comes for them to lead the family, they will do so according to the will of their Father.

As sons of God, it is our responsibility to listen and learn from our Father who is in heaven so that we can grow to follow in His will.** (page 83)

So when we say ‘Our Father’ we are identifying that we no longer “look horizontally” for guidance and instruction but “vertically”. We are adopting a heavenly family dynamic, in which God is the strength of our house.

**The Father of the household manifest many of the characteristics of God to His family. He is the el – power, the older experienced ox that is yoked to His children to teach them. As the adon – lord of the family it is His responsibility to bring life to the family through His own work, teaching and decision-making. He is the mela’ak – messenger, whose responsibility is to bring the messages of God to His family. He is the moshia – deliverer of His family by protecting them from evil, both literal and figurative. As the borey – creator He creates new life. He is the qanah – jealous one by guarding over His family. He is to be qadosh – set apart (holy) from the world and devoted to God and His teachings.** (page 115) again I replaced small letters for caps to emphasize the Father in heaven. The only perfect Father at all these things.

The following scripture wraps up this concept of Fatherhood perfectly.

Isaiah 63:15-16

Look down from heaven; and see from Your holy, glorious dwelling.
Where are Your zeal and Your mighty deeds, Your inner concern and compassion?
Don’t hold back, for You are our Father.
Even if Abraham were not to know us, and Israel were not to acknowledge us, You, Adonai, are our Father, our Redeemer of Old is Your Name
.

As we can clearly see…when we say ‘Our Father…may Your Name be kept holy…we are saying a wealth of things! Yeshua (Jesus) knew all these things when He taught this prayer! To Hebrew disciples who knew this language well and still they did not totally “get it” right away. The vastness of God’s detail and purposes are so that our finite minds must stay still and “chew” on His words for a time just to get a glimpse! It is full of this kind of knowledge and anticipation that Yeshua gave us these words as a “doorway” into prayer. He knew His/our Father, He knew that the depth and width of all the Father longs to teach us! He also knew that the Father, Himself, will take full responsibility for teaching us all we need to know…even if it takes an eternity!!

May His will be done on earth as it is in Heaven…today…now!! Amen!

What Women Want ~ Conclusion

March 11, 2013 at 11:19 pm (WSGD Newes) (, , , , , , , , , , , , , )

image

What do women want?
Really…deep down…where shames and burdens they were not created to carry yoke their souls to the culprit of “society”? Where the slightest exposure to light sends them straight back to a tree, where all thoughts get reverted back to their own capacity to understand; and thereby their God-given beauty wilts and withers under the weight of too many burdens – 100 backs in full youthful ability can’t begin to lift an inch off the ground.
Where the manna of heaven becomes a complaint in tasteless repetition…
And blindness is epidemic to purpose…
What do women want?

These questions invoke a reader…pull us in. Yet they are the wrong questions from beginning to end. Want to know what women want?
Ask the One who created them.

What do You, Father, want in this woman?

Ahhh…then the beginning of not leaning on our own understanding begins…cocooning the old form…encasing it in a wisdom that can not teach in any other way than:
Transformation.

image

Listen to the sound of LIFE!

(Oh I beg of you to check your mind at the door here, and ask Adonai (the Lord) to open your eyes to the world of truth, our own minds often blind us to. Please set off to the side the “gender” of who penned these words in a human hand…instead taking it in as God Himself giving these words to any form of life He created, She who has ears…let her hear…)

Psalm 139:13-18

For You fashioned my inmost being, You knit me together in my mother’s womb.
I thank You because I am awesomely made, wonderfully; Your works are wonders – I know this full well.
My bones were not hidden from You when I was being made in secret, intricately woven in the depths of the earth.
Your eyes could see me as an embryo, but in Your book all my days were already written; my days had been shaped before any of them existed.
God, how I prize Your thoughts! How many of them there are!
If I count them, there are more than grains of sand; if I finish the count, I am still with You
.

Isaiah 58:6-12 ~ God speaking…

“Here is the sort of fast I want – releasing those unjustly bound, untying the thongs of the yoke, letting the oppressed go free, breaking every yoke, sharing your food with the hungry, taking the homeless poor into your house, clothing the naked when you see them, fulfilling your duty to your kinsmen!”

Then your light will burst forth like the morning, your new skin will quickly grow over your wound;
your righteousness will precede you, and Adonai’s glory will follow you.
Then you will call and Adonai will answer; you will cry and He will say, “Here I Am.”
If you will remove the yoke from among you, stop false accusation and slander, generously offer food to the hungry and meet the needs of the person in trouble; then your light will rise in darkness, and your gloom become like noon.
Adonai will always guide you; He will satisfy your needs in the desert, He will renew the strength of your limbs; so that you will be like a watered garden, like a spring whose water never fails.
You will rebuild the ancient ruins, raise foundations from ages past, and be called “Repairer of broken walls, Restorer of streets to live in.”

Beauty. This word and woman are almost synonymous. Lets hear how “the world” teaches beauty to a woman. How is distorts its purpose.

“But tell me how it is that she could be so beautiful without any heart at all – without any place even for a heart to live in.”

“I cannot tell,” she said; “but I am sure she would not look so beautiful if she did not take means to make herself more beautiful than she is. And then, you know, you began by being in love with her before you saw her beauty, mistaking her for the lady in marble – another kind altogether, I should think. But the chief thing that makes her beautiful is this: that, although she loves no man, she loves the love of any man; and when she finds one in her power, her desire to bewitch him and gain his love (not for the sake of his love either, but that she may be conscious anew of her own beauty, through the admiration he manifests), makes her very lovely – with a self destructive beauty, though; for it is that which is constantly wearing her away within, till at last, the decay will reach her face, and her whole front, when all the lovely mask of nothing will fall to pieces, and she will be vanished for ever.”
~ George MacDonald ~ Phantastes

Beauty to God is a matter that clothes a thing of function. Beauty is the natural result of the thing or creature that lives into His will. Making life instead of taking. Beauty is not and can not decay. If it does, it never was. I am a woman, and the beauty I have is kept hidden in the heart of my Master. For those who have eyes to see it, He has given the sight to see, but not me…Him!

Security. Name a woman you know that doesn’t desire this! For within its frame; protection, provision and peace fall into perfect trust without the slightest effort.

It is sometimes almost terrifying to stop and think of the scope of the demands made upon us as children of God, at the perfection required, at the totality of self-abandonment expected of us. Yet outside of such absoluteness can be no salvation (security). In God we live every mundane as well as every exalted moment of our lives. To trust in Him when no great need is pressing, when things all seem to be going right, may be even harder than when things seem to be going wrong. At no time is there any danger, except in ourselves forgetting that it is God who breathes life into everything, that we are nothing – without wisdom or insight – in and of ourselves. Take care that you do not love anything more than the will of God; take care you do not love even your people more than the will of God. If we were right with God, we could see the earth vanish and never heave a sigh, God – of whom it was all but a shimmering revelation – would still be ours!
~ George MacDonald

Again we ask the Maker, where does security come from? Oh how He longs to show us! Making a solid thing inside that without His guidance, we see only the outline of something in a fog.

So much in this series has only been touched upon…the grasping of it’s rich vast unending resources…lay at His feet. A flower expresses what God was thinking when He made it. Our response to it may reflect on our faces, usually the face reflects what we think of ourselves. When we cease thinking of ourselves, then, like the flower, we will show what God was thinking of when He made us. And this…is ultimately, whether a woman can admit it or not, the culmination of what she is born to want. All the other subtitles, categories and details fall into the great Cause of Purpose when anyone, man or woman, seeks first the King and His Kingdom. Beauty becomes something from another world, time, space and dimension. Life…a heart fully alive in the Messiah Yeshua (Christ Jesus) transformed with every single second we breathe by His renewing of our mind, having died to ourselves – we live for the first time and that for eternity…never to die again.

What do you…want? If you can not say words to form an answer. There is One who can show you what you want, how to “un-want” what He designed you not to. How to truly want what He designed you for. Ask Him, He has all the answers, they are 100% of the time right, trustworthy and hold the keys to everything– for a woman…or a man…a flower…even the dust that blankets the ground…from which He breathed us into being.
