Awake! – Part 16 – What does Transhumanism have to do with God’s Temple?

June 13, 2017 at 2:38 am (WSGD Newes) (, , , , , )

This is one of my favorite videos. (At the bottom) Tom Horn is well respected in all circles and a firm Follower of Yeshua. It is well balanced.

I believe this topic is crucial to the body of Messiah. It’s revelation comes in two parts: the abomination that causes desolation and the mark of the beast.

It says in Matthew 12:30-32

Those who are not with Me are against Me, and those who do not gather with Me are scattering. Because of this, I tell you that people will be forgiven any sin and blasphemy, but blaspheming the Ruach HaKodesh (Spirit of the Holy One) will not be forgiven. One can say something against the Son of Man and be forgiven; but whoever keeps on speaking against the Ruach HaKodesh will never be forgiven, neither in this age or the age to come.

It’s important to note some things. First Ruach in Hebrew means: breath, wind, spirit. It is this that brought man to life in the beginning – God’s breath! (See Genesis 2:7)  Our DNA came into being in this act.

The word – blaspheme in Hebrew is – גדף – qadaph. Listen to its many faceted meanings. Speaking contemptuously, any act contrary to the will of God or derogatory to His power, to revile, cut off, hack, violate His norms, to repudiate, desperately wound or pierce through, a concept alien to biblical thought.

Listed below are just a few scriptures that connect all these dots. There are many more. This video and these scriptures will help get you started, the rest is for you to test, search, and have the Lord reveal to you. As always I strongly encourage that one read the verses proceeding and preceeding the reference for context.

Acts 17:24; Is. 66:1-2; Ecc.5:1; Rev. 21:22; 2 Thess. 2:4; Zach. 6:12; John 2:21; 1 Cor. 6:19; 3:16-17; 2 Cor. 6:14-18; Eph. 2:19-22; Rom. 8:9; John 3:4-8; John 14: 22-24; 1 John 4:17; 2 Sam. 14;14; Heb. 9:27; Job 10:9-12; 12:7-25.

He who has ears, let him hear…

✡ May the grace and truth of Yeshua lead us and guide us into His arms of goodness and Life! As we raise our eyes to Him, whose throne is in heaven. As servants who look to His hand as our Master, so may our eyes turn to Adonai our God, until He has mercy on us. Have mercy on us, Adonai, have mercy; for we have had our fill of contempt, more than our fill of scorn from the complacent and contempt from the arrogant! Blessed are You, Adonai, who did not leave us to be prey for their teeth! Our help is in the Name of Adonai, maker of heaven and earth! ✡

Considering Job

February 28, 2015 at 1:33 am (WSGD Newes) (, , , , , , , , , , , , , )

I’ve been reading Job, again. I can’t count how many times I’ve read this book of wonders. It tends to be dubbed “the book of suffering”. True enough, if one wants to read about someone who suffered for righteousness sake (other than Yeshua-Jesus); this book will do splendidly!

This time, however, I’m struck by a different theme altogether. It’s message is not so hidden, but not ‘right in your face’ either. It’s been brushed upon, but from a different point of view. The message of “the motive more than words”. I’m struck by how much truth could be found in the words of Jobs friends. In fact, aside from their outright attempts to fixate on what they think Job did to deserve such a lot, most everything they said about God was true. What made it as though they never should have spoke at all was that their motive for speaking truth voided any relevance to the hearer – Job. (And perhaps others who listened from a distance)

This happens when I think I know so much…and my aim is to bring the “work of God” into plain sight. I quote-fingered that because I don’t bring the work of God when I think I’m the one who knows better and tromp in with my Holier-than-thou halo hanging from my brow. Trust me, my husband, friends, and family could tell you all about it! It’s often so full of truth that it seems that’s all I’m full of! Hmphft! Not even close! What sends the message crashing to the abyss is the fact that, like Jobs friends;
A) I wasn’t sent by God, I took it upon myself to speak, go, correct, “save”.

B) I ran out ahead on my perception of their “lot” and spoke into it like…well…like it was Gods!

Believe me, Gods response to Job in chapters 38, 39, 40, and 41 have a familiar “ring” that my spine has intimately become attuned to in such cases! It seeks out every single nerve ending of my pride and gives them a good “talking to”. The dust doesn’t settle for quite some time when Adonai puts me in my “place”. (It’s ends up on His lap but with a firm and sturdy grip that means to subdue!)

The following is a bunch of pictures with various “shots” of the book of Job. Notice the trend in the words. I kept the names of the “friends” out, they ring like the Accuser – famous for cloaking discouragement with truth.

You see, it rarely gets mentioned but the enemy not only attacked Job physically, emotionally, mentally, and his family and all he owned. He attacked Job through his friends and neighbors – even his own wife! Often when in such situations we need discernment for knowing the real enemy is not the human body doing the talking/accusing/”correcting”. Just like God uses us, we can be used by the enemy. When we sin, doubt it not who is pulling your strings! We virtually take them out of God’s hands and hand them over to the enemy – not just His enemy, but ours too! This is why Yeshua says to “pray for, do good to” those who seem very much at the time like an enemy.

I enjoy doing these pictures, they help me assimilate, digest, and remember the Word. I pray they do you too.

Here’s where Adonai Elohim steps in. I love that even He sometimes drips sarcasm down with His correction. Though I’ll admit I never have heard anyone but Him do it justly, perfectly and total authority to do so being 100% His right. Usually when we drip with sarcasm, God is quick to “pluck on our pride strings”.

Are you familiar with this tone in Adonai’s dealings with you? If so, I rejoice with you! If not, I pray you will become a friend of this beloved part of God voice, intimately correcting, moving motives into His will. It’s one of the greatest blessings I have. It’s the Work of God, intimate, precious and loving beyond all words. It’s why I call Him Abba.

I believe that one of the greatest reasons why God grafted this book into His Word is not only because it prophecies the suffering of the Messiah, but it’s also one of the most detailed responses by God to man about everything under the Sun. There is nothing left out in His speaking about who and what and how He makes things. Got questions, read Job chapters 38-41, the answers are in there! Oh! Not to our complete satisfaction! But then, He left the conversation open, all we need do is ask. 🙂 He has always meant to continue teaching and leading and guiding us. Each period after each sentence in His Word can be turned into a comma.

The Shadow in the Valley

Psalms 23:3-4

He restores my inner person.
He guides me in right paths for the sake of His own name.
Even if I pass through death-dark ravines, I will fear no disaster; for You are with me;
Your rod and staff reassure me.

Proverbs 14:10

The heart knows its own bitterness, and no stranger can share its joy.

I love how a string of events, readings, times; minutes and hours that get lived; fall into one single drop of revelation. This happens all the time. Its almost Gods signature of fulfilling His purpose.

I recently read in a book, a comparison to the Valley of the Shadow of Death to the scripture in Proverbs 14:10. Or rather how they are one in the same.

Then at coffee with a dear sister and friend; we spoke of how desperately we hate our “flesh”. With tears and often lacking adequate words to describe how the “chain of events” and movements of Yeshua (Jesus) inside has brought “suffering” into the bitterness of the me/self; with the purpose of escorting it out to make room for His joy.

These two things in conjunction with readings for devotion, scripture, prayer, and the speaking of His voice during duties during the day; all “zoomed in” to the fine point. These two passages of scripture, unveiled and revealing more than the “eyes” can see.

Indeed the bitterness of the heart, the root of it; is our struggle to die to ourselves. This is the Valley of the Shadow of Death. Evil will do its best to convince us this “death” is final, insane, absurd, even ungodly. Yet David in Psalms 23 shows plainly “the work” we do there.

I will fear no disaster…

The working of the will to fear not. And the hope and reason follows.

For You are with me; Your rod and staff reassure me.

Because He, the Shepherd – Yeshua is with me, His correction and sure guidance a promise for eternity!! Proof of or evidence of this follows as I follow the minutes leading up to this one…He is with me and helping “me” to die! His correction a.k.a. perspective changing/vision correction; His staff of defence and provision evident with each new life breath I take…shows fear to the door and swiftly kicks it into “no-man’s land”!!

Then the second part of Proverbs 14:10 jumps out!!

…and no stranger can share its joy.

Adonai is no stranger to my heart…in its bitterness or its joys! This is a mighty promise! Joy comes only from His hand in the bitterness of my inner-person. No one else can trade in such a “market”. Bitterness and joy are Abba’s passion…making beauty for ashes…strength for despair…gladness for mourning. These are the hallmarks of the pathways to peace…beyond understanding.

The hardest work of the Kingdom of God is done inside where we learn to bend our will into His. Submission to a type of “slavery” to often not knowing our knee from our elbow! Just leaping into action out of trust in Him and all He is teaching, showing, leading, guiding us to do, say and think. I really do die everyday when I take His voice and apply it as the melody to the song He is Singing in and over me…this thing called “my” life. Stooping down in those death-dark ravines, and drinking of the waters that seem dark, murky and less than “fit for consumption”…I drink trusting the Hands that turn water into wine!

Oh the deep deep Love of Jesus!

Reminding us always…for those who make Him their refuge…death is only a shadow, with no substance!

The “Facts” are ALL God

September 13, 2012 at 12:15 am (Thoughts to Ponder) (, , , , , , )

To inquire into what God has made is the main function of the imagination.
It is aroused by facts, is nourished by facts, seeks for higher and yet higher laws in those facts; but refuses to regard science as the sole interpreter of nature, or the laws of science as the region of discovery.
