Colossians 1:15-17; 25_27

He is the visible image of the invisible God. He is supreme over all creation, because in connection with Him were all created things – in heaven and on earth, visible and invisible, whether thrones, lordships, rulers, or authorities – they have all been created through Him and for Him. He existed before all things and He holds everything together.
I (Paul) became a servant of the Good News because God gave me this work to do for your benefit. The work is to make fully known the message from God, the secret hidden for generations, for ages, but now made clear to the people He has set apart for Himself. To them God wanted to make known how great among the Gentiles is the glorious richness of this secret. And the secret is this: the Messiah is United with you people! In that rest your hope of glory!

Facts about signs in the Sky.

God, Himself taught how to “read” the stars and heavenly story. The Magi that followed the story of Yeshua’s (Jesus) birth followed the way He taught generations to read the “braile of Heaven”. In the book of Revelations its in print in all languages… and in the Sky.

Revelations 12:1
Now a great sign was seen in heaven – a woman clothed with the Sun, under her feet the moon, and on her head a crown of twelve stars.

This exact sign was seen back then at His birth; in the form of the constellation Virgo as we know it but as God teaches it, the Virgin. As she rose up with the Sun at her back and the moon was at her feet. (See the Star of Bethlehem by Rick Larson) the moon at this time was a new moon. On the day of Yeshua’s death. .. Again the Virgin rose but this time the Sun was in front of her, again the moon was at her feet. But this time the moon was full and as Yeshua took His last Breath the earth Eclipsed the Sun and the moon was blood red. If you would have been on the moon looking towards the Sun that day it would have been a solar eclipse with the earth blocking the Sun. Within the constellation Aries as we know it but called the Lamb in heaven; the earth and sun were perfectly aligned in the heart of the Lamb as Yeshua took His last Breath. (See also the Star of Bethlehem video in the extras).

Things in the Sky are not coincidental. Nor are they taught as Heaven would read them. Why do I bring this up? Yesterday at midnight on the 1st day of Passover. .. Again the full moon was seen in the Virgin resting by the sheath of wheat in her hand and it went red from the earth blocking the light of the Sun for almost 2 hours. If one were on the moon looking towards the Sun at the same time the earth would have Eclipsed the Sun in the constellation of Pisces as we know it, but in heavenly perspective known as Israel the two fish representing the blessing of Jacob (or Israel as God renamed him) to Ephraim and Manasseh. (Genesis 48)
God wrote His story in the heavens. And a significant chapter was just shown for even the least observant person in the night sky. .. undeniably and beautiful.

We get caught up with meanings. .. Wanting more as if the above scripture in Colossians isn’t enough! Yet if one truly desires to learn from Adonai, just to know Adonai. ..more will be given. Signs and wonders have always been for us to see Him! Not to see signs and wonders. They display a Promise keeper, not just the promises. They give glory to the Creator, not the created. They are in the Heavens written from before the earth existed. Passover by the way is when Yeshua died… the 1st day of Passover. Again this is a festival that if Yeshua was here today. .. He would be celebrating. Do you join Him? Do you know why Adonai asked us to celebrate this time,  times of History? Because it’s about the future dear fellowsheep… May we all dig and scrape the surface to get at the heart of all things. .. knowing with surety. .. That we will find Himself and it will be more than enough!

Your Kingdom come Father!
Your will be done
On earth as it is in heaven!

The Things Closest to You

Psalms 90:1-2

Adonai (Lord), You have been our dwelling place in every generation. Before the mountains were born, before You had formed the earth and the world, from eternity past to eternity future You are God.

A while ago Sam and I went to a telescope store to look at a few new lenses. We are “babies” in the world of star gazing…in the sense of telescoping. We have both been “star/night-sky” gazing…well…since we can remember. Who hasn’t? Everyone looks up and gazes at the sun, moon, stars, clouds, all that encompasses…UP. So in effect, infancy is subjective. The question of whether or not one has been taught correctly is – “Who has one been taught by?”

The kind and passionate lady at the counter was eager to “educate” us. She has been studying in fields of astronomy/astrophysics for some time. Her courses are at a college. The teachers…who knows? Her love for the spacial views of the cosmos was evident. It was fun to listen to her and watch her passion tell more than her speech as we spoke our desires and she tried to meet them. We made our purchase and as we checked out we were talking about our love for the moon. We asked the exact date of the Super-moon; which is when the moon is closest to the earth in a given year. The young lady with a brush off tone said, “Oh, the moon? That’s boring.” She then handed us off with our inquiry to the owner of the shop. Sam and I were perplexed at the sudden change in her attitude. I thought to myself, “How can such passion deflate over the moon?!?” Most people don’t know that the ancient way of viewing the stars and celestial bodies was taught to mankind by God, Himself. The Magi who followed the stars to Jerusalem and then Bethlehem to honor Yeshua (Jesus) as a newborn babe; they followed according to the correct teaching of the celestial heart of God. The Moon represents the Holy Spirit in this perspective. Obviously no modern class in colleges today follows this course. Since the Holy Spirit is the most important part of walking with the God who made all, Sam and I find the Moon to be amazing. The “educated folks” at the shop categorized us as “babies” meaning “one who has much to learn” due to our love of moon gazing. For all of a couple hundred thousand dollars of an “education” that represented itself in the owner and the young lady who helped us, The Father made sure we knew that He was teaching us right and for free.

As I continued to chew on this Abba God continued to feed.

Its always the things closest to you that one must not ever think one knows enough to “move on”. The Moon has been studied for ages and ages…and mankind thinks its knows it backwards and forwards, upsidedown and right side up. Though studied from the perspective of a rock in space that only is useful for tides and light, the Moon as I can teach it becomes of little use for excitement in the world’s eyes today.

The “lesson” between my Lord and myself continued. We truly do neglect to keep our eyes on the things closest to us. And the Holy Spirit is the most convoluted aspect of God today…as it is taught by mankind that is. This part of God is the least interesting at times because it seems so “out there”. Yet it is the closest aspect of Himself He gives. Its how we are able to hear, see and know the God of all Creation!

The same principle applies to those we know in our lives. We often think “I know so-n-so.” and stop really looking in the way of “getting to know” we do at first. Dangerous territory when it comes to our spouses and children, whom we think we know so well; or our parents, siblings, family and friends. The neon sign of the Moon reminds us that God is constantly changing the works of His hands, the tides flow in and out completely different everyday…never exactly the same as before! So, too, is the Holy Spirit at work in His children! May He, Himself continue any education based on these thoughts to you 🙂

By the way, the Super-Moon was June 23rd, 2013. We were able to “catch” a view on the 22nd, with many of our parents, siblings, families and friends. It was a blast! Taken in from just the naked eye view and through our “new lens” in our telescope! The 23rd was replaced by thunderstorms that blew ones mind as well. God orchestrated it all. The Spirit of God was alive and active in both. The lesson of looking more at those I love, right there on the ground with me – priceless! My appreciation for the Moon – still astounding! Knowing the One who created each and every thing I see, loves and speaks to me, teaches me correctly without need of anything or anyone else – humbling!
May He continue this education, every second of everyday straight on into eternity!

WHAT WISE MEN SEE
Celestial Alignment—Memorial Day, 2011
by
Bodie and Brock Thoene

The Lord of Heaven and Earth is speaking to us clearly RIGHT NOW in the heavens! This entire month the Lord has shown us an astronomical reminder of His faithfulness.

SET YOUR ALARM!   DON”T MISS THIS!    If you have a clear view of the eastern horizon tomorrow morning just before sunrise (around 5:30am, local time) you will see a spectacular alignment of five heavenly bodies which has great significance in the menorah.

Lowest on the horizon is the bright spark of Mercury, Cokabh in Hebrew, the Messenger Star.

Just above it, and slightly to its right, is the blazing beacon of Venus, Nogah—the Splendor, the Glory of the Lord.

Above Nogah is Ma’adim, the yellow-orange-reddish ember of Mars, the Adam; the Son of Man.

Next is a sliver of waning moon—the Ruach Ha’Chodesh—the Holy Spirit.

Finally, highest and furthest right, you will spot Jupiter, Tzadik, the Righteous King.

Tomorrow morning’s sky displays five of the flames of the heavenly menorah…the only one missing is Saturn—the Lord of the Sabbath.
The Sun, Holy Fire, and the sixth beacon of the menorah, rises about fifteen minutes later than the five noted here.  Representing the coming of the Lord, its radiance washes out the rest.

“I was watching in the night visions, and behold, one like the Son of Man,  coming with the clouds of heaven!  He came to the Ancient of Days, and they brought Him near before Him. Then to Him was given dominion and glory and a kingdom, that all peoples, nations, and languages should serve Him! His dominion is an everlasting dominion, which shall not pass away, and His kingdom the one which shall not be destroyed!”  (Daniel 7:13-14)

Jupiter is still firmly anchored in the Sign of the Two Fish, which is the representation of the prophecies about the prosperity of Israel (Genesis 48:19-20.) The Sign of the Two Fish is also the recognition that the Promised Messiah would not be for the Jews alone but was also sent to bless all the nations of the earth. (Isaiah 49:5-6)

From Tzadik the string of lights stretching horizonward spans the constellation of Aries the Ram. (In some cultures Aries represented a lamb, but always presents a sacrificial animal.)

And here is the lesson from this heavenly alignment: In Genesis 22 we read that Abraham’s faith was tested when God asked him to sacrifice Isaac, his only son. Isaac’s life was spared when God provided a substitute sacrifice in the form of a ram caught in a thicket.

(c) www.robinhanley.com

It is significant that the Hebrew records the prophecy of the substitution with these full-of-faith words of Abraham to his son: “God, He will provide Himself the Lamb for burnt offering, son of me.” (Genesis 22:8)

Will provide Himself, the Lamb.

The prophetic implication is clear. The circumstance of Abraham and Isaac foreshadowed the time when God would send HIS Son, His only Son, Yeshua, into the world as a sacrifice for sin. As John the Baptist announced: “Behold the Lamb of God, Who takes away the sin of the world.” (John 1:29)

On this Memorial Day the spectacular sky show reminds us of these things—He Who is the Second Adam, God Incarnate, Who came into human history as the atoning sacrifice for sin, is coming again.

He Who is both the Messiah of Israel and the King of Kings and Lord of Lords of All the Earth, is coming in power and splendor. He will still exhibit the wounds in His hands and side, reminding us for all eternity of the sacrifice He made on our behalf. (John 20:26-29)

We have this heavenly event to be reminded of all that has gone before. We have the opportunity…the responsibility…to SHARE the message with all whom we encounter, in the brief time that remains before the Coming of the SON!

Blessings in the Name of Yeshua Messiah,
Bodie and Brock
